This rod has massive power and speed. Using 50 lb. braid and 30 lb. fluorocarbon, it whipped a 33 lb. 2 ounce mutton snapper off Cudjoe Key. I received it as a gift from my chorus students a decade ago, and I'd love to see all the snapper, grouper, mahi, cobia, kingfish, etc. this thing boated in it's career in one pile! I'd like to eat them again, too!
