Triggertrap MD3-E3 Mobile Dongle & E3 Remote Release Cable Kit for Canon (Red)

Very cool gadget for my dslr. I am using a Canon t3i and it works great! Much better then just having an intervalometer and they cost almost the same. It also has a lot of pretty sweet features. The Mobile UI looks very nice and is easy to use, the problem is the back button doesnt work and the way you dial in numbers is a little weird. But those shouldn't push you away from buying it.

This photography peripheral is a must have! Since receiving it, I haven't stopped finding excuses to use it! The item is not bulky, item works with more model canon cameras than just my t3i AND you can even attach it to an external flash via sync cord! WHAT!? The app is simple to use and many features are available to android users as well as iPhone users...Great Item, I've recommended it to other photography buddies!

I really like this. I had to wait a while, because every time I tried to use it, the sky decided to be overcast and I could see no stars. Finally got a chance to use it a week or so ago, and I love it! I was setting it to take long exposures while camping, and it worked great. The only problems I had were remembering to set the camera up correctly-nothing with the cable. It, and the companion app, work amazingly. I would strongly recommend this-and have!

Great idea and it worked fine, in MANUAL FOCUS mode. This makes it useless to me. I need to be able to use the full capabilities of my camera's focusing abilities while using the remote. I'll be returning it and getting something more flexible in use.

Simple cable release works fine. The other modes are unreliable, sometimes would trigger sometimes it wouldn't. Shooting with a Pentax K-1. Tried both Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Samsung Galaxy S4. Per their forums on Reddit and the reply to a tweet on twitter, they've halted all Android development. Disappointing as I had high hopes for the product. Fortunately, my camera had modes that allowed me to complete a night shoot, but would have liked to use this product for more flexibility and creative options. If they resume Android support, maybe I'll try again. For now, I'm looking for alternatives.

Problems? Need to turn Airplane Mode On for no interrupting time-lapses. Cables means no touching phone while shutter is open. But it's the best App out there and simple use. Love it and it's a perfect use for an outdated iPhone or Android.

Ok, outside of the high cost of this little dongle, I am very happy at it's performance. It does exactly what it's supposed to do and it does it well. I don't spite them for the price as it's unique and it has worth-while software. I've used it to photograph stars at night and do time lapse stuff that there's just no other way to do without this gadget. Buy it! You need a toy!

Did not like this product. I try not to write bad reviews, but avoid buying this product. I tried using with my Canon 70D. I first used my iPhone 6+. I would continually skip pictures. I had dropped my phone months back and had a cracked screen, so I thought it might be my phone. So I tried my iPad Air and my wifes brand new iPhone 6. None of them worked properly. I needed a time lapse for a clients video. Thankfully I brought my GoPro and Osmo as backups and was able to use the GoPro's video. Otherwise I would've been screwed. Even one skipped photo can screw your time lapse and this thing never worked without skipping. I will now buy a cheaper, more reliable product.
