This is a very difficult product to review. It is the only vitamin C I have tested that is purely from natural sources, but given the amount of C you need a day, it offers very poor value.If you do any kind of research on Vitamin C you come to realise (if you have an open mind) just how important this Vitamin is. If the only research you do on the importance of C is to watch a video on YouTube by the Tahoma Clinic of Washington State USA, you will have done yourself an enormous favour. He explains why it is essential to take large doses of this vitamin to protect the body and improve the immune system. Large doses can be difficult to take as they can have a laxative effect. Also, many manufacturers make a Vitamin C tablet so weak it is almost useless. This tablet is good in that it is less synthetic than any of its competitors, but it does not offer good value for money, as it gives you such a low dose.If you take the Tahoma Clinics recommendation on the levels of Vitamin C to take, you would go bankrupt buying this product. To take the amount of Vitamin C that is recommended, you need to take multiple pills a day. At the cost price, you will go through a bottle every few days. They recommend at least 5000mg a day. This tablet gives you only 160mgs. I usually buy a tablet of 1000mg and there are 365 for just over £12.00. This is a much better choice than this product, if and it is and if you want to take a large dose of C. If you are happy taking a small dose of C, then this is a great product and one I am happy to take, as it is far less synthetic than its competitors. Whilst there is nothing wrong with this item, it just does not offer the best value as it gives you such a low dose.

This is a super quality, fruit-sourced vitamin C supplement. Many of them these days are synthetic or from bacteria so to find an affordable, natural vitamin C is brilliant. This is just under £21 for 6 months' supply, if you take 1 a day, which is excellent value. And, best of all, there is ONLY the Acerola extract in the capsule - no fillers or other junk chemicals. The capsules are not small, but they are pretty easy to swallow with plenty of water. I am really pleased with them and intend to keep on with them when this lot runs out.

Buen sabor

Ich nehme die Vitamin C Kapsel seit Jahren, 1 in der Früh und blieb bisher von grippalen Attacken weitgehend verschont.

Dank der bruchbaren Form sind die Tabletten für mich persönlich trotz ihrer Größe gut einzunehmen. Im Ganzen würde ich die Tabletten nicht herunterbekommen, aber sie lassen sich gut in der Mitte auseinanderbrechen und dann in zwei Hälften einnehmen. Man sollte hier zwar beachten, dass die Tabletten keinen Filmüberzug haben. Wenn man sie nicht direkt mit einem Schluck herunterspült und die Tablette zu lange im Mund behält, kann die Tablette durchaus etwas unangenehm schmecken oder auch am Gaumen kleben bleiben. Hier könnte ein kleiner Überzug, der bei dieser Tablettenform mittlerweile häufiger verwendet wird, eventuell hilfreich sein.Ansonsten finde ich persönlich diese Tablettenform, die man teilen kann, angenehmer als die großen Kapseltabletten. Das ist wohl in diesem Fall Geschmackssache. Was jedoch keine Geschmackssache ist, sind die Werte. Gepuffertes Vitamin C in der Menge von 500 mg pro Tablette ist in meinen Augen schon sehr gut. Ich persönlich würde nicht zwei Tabletten pro Tag einnehmen, da ich auch noch auf andere Weise Vitamin C und Zink zu mir nehme. Aber besonders ab dem Zeitpunkt, an dem es wieder kälter wird, nehme ich gerne eine Tablette pro Tag ein, um mein Immunsystem zu unterstützen. Bei der großen Menge an Tabletten, die man hier erhält, reicht das bei meiner Nutzung (ca. 4-6 Monate pro Jahr/eine Tablette) für 2 Jahre aus. Das ist bei dem aktuellen Preis von etwa 21€ für 360 Tabletten wirklich nicht verkehrt.Ich konnte keine Übelkeit oder sonstigen Reaktionen nach der Einnahme feststellen. Ich gehe jedoch aufgrund der Firma davon aus, dass die Tabletten gut verträglich sind. Zumindest bei mir sind es die Tabletten.
