The description said it would fit the flashlight I bought. It did not.

I am pleased with the quality of the filter itself
The one problem is determining the actual size, I received it and it is larger than my flashlight, wrapped the head with a rubber band and got it to stay on. That is my mistake not the products, other that it is quite often that these lenses leave no mention of size, however, I am pleased with the quality of the filter itself.

Olight M30 Red Filter
This filter reduced light emission of 1000 lumen light down to almost nothing. My light without the filter would shine almost 200 yards out and about 25 yards wide, with this filter mounted it shines about 15 feet out and like a tube 8' wide. To those of you who want to hunt or do tactical maneuvers unless those activities happen to fall within the afore mentioned field of view don't buy this filter. I'm sure that the mirrored coating on this lens is what's the problem, I was a bit surprised to see the mirror like coating as I have other red filters for various lights and none of them have this coating. Buyers beware of this product!!!!! I did buy the green filter along with this on and it also has the mirrored coating but doesn't affect light emission as much I would recommend the green lens over this red one hands down. I had already thrown away all the packing material otherwise I would return this item oh well I just have to eat the cost.

This Excellent Quality Filter Fits All Trustfire & Ultrafire XML C8-T6 Flashlights As Well As Others With A 1.75 Inch Bezel
That's right, if you have a Trustfire or Ultrafire XML C8-T6, or any light that has a 1.75 inch/44.45 mm front bezel, this filter is a perfect fit. It is made of a soft rubber that makes a very snug fit on a C8. The filter glass has a very high quality mirror like coating on both sides. Treat it as you would the coating on an expensive slr camera lens. It will pick up fingerprints or get scratched very easily. Clean it with an eyeglass or camera lens cleaning cloth and solution only. No T shirts or paper towels. To keep the glass protected, I put a Butler Creek # 27 flip up scope cover on the filter and it fits perfect. I never remove the filter or cover and consider this light as a dedicated green light. If Amazon doesn't have the BC #27, than Midway does, and I recommend it. It is very well made.When I first received this filter, I put it on a Trustfire XM-L C8-T6 light. When dark I went outside to see what it could do. My house is over 150 feet from the road. At that distance, it was bright enough to easily see an animal or a person. At 100 feet brighter yet, and at 50 feet, much brighter than I expected.There are 2 foxes that den on my property. They were out tonight, and were totally unfazed by the green light. With a regular white beam, they would likely have run away. This filter does decrease the light output by about 25%, which is specified and to be expected. A red filter will reduce light by at least 50%, more than any other color. Green filters have the highest light output of any other color. I highly recommend this filter for great performance and quality at a reasonable price.Thanks for reading. I hope someone finds my review helpful in making a buying decision.
