These are nice adapters HVAC gauges with 1/4SAE Hoses I do use Nylog on fittings keeps O-rings condition and helps any small leaks if your doing a deep vac, shut off valves work good pulled a 500 mic vac shutoff valves held tight

Fixed the problem with my gauge set
I bought an AC gauge set years ago from a certain low-cost Chinese hardware chain (name sounds kinda like "Hazard Fraught"). I've had verying levels of success using it to recharge various cars, until recently when I had no luck whatsoever getting my truck to take an R134 charge. It seemed like the low-side coupler just wasn't letting gas pass from the fill bottle into the system. Well, on a hunch I decided to replace the couplers that came with that kit with these, and bingo -- problem solved and no more problems. These replacements are much heftier and higher-quality than the cheapo ones that I used to have. Well worth the price and has fixed what was a very frustrating experience.

Seems to be open package item
The couplings I purchased as NEW seem to be Returned Items after use. I see a deform and numerous scratches. I don’t really care about cosmetics. Hopefully, they are not defective. I will test them in the next few days. If you buy OMT product or any product on Amazon, do not discard the original packaging before examining & testing. Lately, there have been bad vendors; my experiences with Amazon are going south. The last picture is comparison with Lichamp couplings. The valve handles are great.

Good quality
I bought a set of manifold gauges and the connectors had no shut off valves. They also started leaking right away so I replaced them with these. Seem to seal well, but only have used them once. Shutoff's at this end are a better choice.

No problems using them...
Worked well, just a little on the bulky side...Replaced the ones that came with Acetech Manifold set. They were hard to install on the Schrader valves causing refrigerant leaks...
