Hydro Flask 20 oz Travel Coffee Flask | Stainless Steel & Vacuum Insulated | Wide Mouth with Hydro Flip Cap | Lava

I have been on the hunt for a new cold/hot bottle for weeks now. I knew I wanted specific qualities and this met everyone of my criteria. Namely: BPA Free, double insulated, flip top lid, stays hot or cold for several hours and NO SWEATING. Now that I am actually using it...I am in love with this bottle.I DO NOT like bottles that force you to keep the lid attached with a "plastic string". I find they smack me in the face and it annoys me all day.(Not really using at a gym...so I can see where that feature may come in handy. However I am primarily at a desk all day. So the flip top lid is a priority for me. Plus I can use for hot or cold).This bottle has had ice in it for over 6 hours and has not had one drop of sweat. Love it.Likely to buy another. Would recommend.Update: the lid that came with this bottle was causing a leak. I contacted both the seller and Hydro Flask directly. Both wonderful to deal with. Prompt response given, new lid shipped to me at no cost and it works perfectly. Crap happens, it is how you deal with it that has now made me a Hydro Flask customer for life. Thank you!

Bias: I love the Hydroflask design. I have a smaller hydroflask that fits under a Keurig, and ever since buying that one, I've been in love with Hydroflask. I bought this one specifically for cold beverages even though it will do either. Here's my list of Hydroflask awesomeness. 1. Different colors. Unless you've got the Steve Jobs style down, you can easily tell your Hydroflasks apart by getting different colors. Honestly, you don't need more than one because they are awesome and durable, but it's nice to have a variety if you ask me. For some reason, this lava color is more the shade of orange than red. 2. Different lids. Hydroflask makes a variety of lids for their products. I use the flip top for coffee and tea and the sport spout for water or cold beverages. 3. Easy to clean. I've had other insulated cups for Camelbak, Thermos, and Stanley, and I still find Hydroflask the easiest to clean. I swish mine with a little baking soda and water, give it a brush with some dish soap, and it's clean. I had to let my other cups sit with the baking soda to get the stains off. I don't think you can go wrong with Hydroflask.

The proof is in the coffee (or something like that). I bought this alongside the smart cooler 24 oz. This is 20 oz and is the right size for a large gulp or three of coffee. You can tell that a lot of time effort and engineering was placed into this product. It is dimensionally intelligent/sound. Taller with a reasonable base fits well in cup holders and it does not tip easily. What really sealed the deal for me is the cap and locking mechanism around the top of the flask. It literally snaps in tight. You can shake the fluids in it, drop it and possibly do other forms of damage without it accidentally popping open. The screw on lid is very well designed and easy to take on and off. I may buy a second or third one of these. Works great on the go and in business meetings and near computers where spill prevention is at a premium. Keeps drinks hot for much longer than I'd need.

I ordered this water bottle on the recommendation of coworkers who are out in the field in all seasons. It works exactly as they claimed! The first day I used it, I filled it halfway with ice, topped it off with cold water, and took it to work where it sat on my desk all day as I sipped from it. After I got home, 12 hours after filling it, there was still ice and water in it. Even after sitting overnight (closed) on the kitchen counter, the ice had melted but the water was still very chilled -- 24 hours after I first filled it! I've had it for only two weeks, but have had no issues with leaking as others have noted in reviews here. I'm already thinking about ordering a second Hydro Flask for my morning commute coffee!

Hydro Flask has stolen my heart. I now give this as a gift to everyone - I gave it to my professor, my clinical instructor, my coach, my mom -- the list goes on and on. I have put ice in it during the summer on the hottest days and at the end of the day there is still ice left. I put coffee in it before class and walk through VT's coldest days and it is still nice and hot 2 classes later. I have dropped it a few times and it is still ok and seems pretty durable. Another nice perk is that mine came with a lifetime warrantyDownsides - as with all insulated cups/mugs it is not dishwasher safe. It can be somewhat difficult to clean, but I recently invested in a bottle sponge (basically a sponge on a stick) and that has done the trick for me.If you do not dry off the sides of the cap before you screw the cap on then it will drip a few drips of whatever you're drinking on your shirt. The fix is simple though - just dry off the threads of the cap before screwing it onOverall: I LOVE IT and recommend it to anyone and everyone

As always, I love this! Things stay cold or hot for at least 10-12 hours! My only complaint is that it is difficult to close the flap over the mouth piece. Just when I think it's closed it leaks. If I use a lot of force, I hear it snap closed and no leaks!

I bought the Hydro flask 20oz. about 6 month's ago. As with any product that is of quality you better buy all that you can at that time. These newer ones I received are close to half the quality as my older ones, less vibrant (watered down colors), they are a very faded version they show you in the pictures. Also my older one the lid had the Hydro Flask stamp was on the top of the lid which is no longer there even though the pictures show its still there and lastly the lid no longer locks in place open. In conclusion this product has significantly gotten cheaper in quality or this may be a fraudulent company. The product doesn't match what you will receive.

I loved mine so much, and got a few envious comments from my boyfriend enough times, that I wound up buying another as a gift for him. Keeps coffee hot for hours. Can be unpleasantly hot for road trips but better for hiking if you plan to not need a sip within the first 30 minutes of pouring in your brew. Mine is almost 2 years old and still in great shape.

I've only had this for a couple of days so far,Pros:- It holds cold drinks at practically the same temperature for the whole day through.- For hot liquids, I've only had them in the flask for a couple of hours at a time. But temperature is very similar to when I introduced them into the Flask.Cons:- The exterior color comes off pretty easily. Probably if I decide to order another one, I'll go for the non-painted version.I'll write again some more once I've tested it with a thermometer more thoroughly.

I liked the size, durability and it holds heat or cold depending on drink. But bought a different product because the top leaks.
