Worked wonders in the Zion Narrows!!
I used these socks on a two day overnight backpacking trip of the Zion narrows. I didn't want to rent expensive shoes and neoprene socks from outfitters in Zion so my friend and I opted to buy these and just wear an old pair of trail running shoes instead. These neoprene socks were perfect! The water temperature was around 55-60 degrees and there wasn't a single moment where my feet felt cold. The second day it was raining and temperatures dropped to 50 outside which made for a cold wet morning. However my feet were comfortable the entire time!

Not just for divers, warm feet in the winter.
I was originally looking for sox to keep my feet warm this winter. I work outside in construction all year round, during the winter keeping warm and comfortable is important to me. I saw these and thought why not try them, you know why not? divers need to stay warm. I have worn wool sox but without moving around eventually my feet will still get cold. These Sox are the best thing I have purchased in keeping my feet comfortably warm, and dry in my boots in the winter time. I put them on and a pair of normal sox over them and I am good to go for the rest of the day at temps below zero, and colder. The coldest it has been and wearing them as been minus thirty with the windchill.

Good product
nice, thin socks. very comfortable.Just an update after a couple uses. This item is like thick socks. Just to clarify, they are NOT like boots - so don't get confused. They are not as form fitting as water boots - they don't have a high enough neoprene content, or thickness. They do not have much of a sole - I would not consider these something to wear across the sand. You will wear them out pretty quick that way. They are meant to be worn with your flippers in temperate waters just to prevent uncomfortable rubbing. They will not give you much if any thermal protection because they definitely allow a good amount of water exchange while wearing them. Other reviewers have mentioned ordering a size smaller. I think that would make a snugger fit - especially for women. I bought for both male and female, and if I ordered again, I would order a size smaller for both.

1.5 to 2 size down and fit perfect.
I'm a men size 8.5-9 and I bought a 7 which stretches and fit perfect. Not loose enough for it to fall off easily and not tight that it feels constricting. Also bought size 4 for my wife who is a size 5.5 and it fits well too.The recommendation to go 1.5 to 2 size down (I believe even 2.5 size down will still fit) is correct and accurate unless you have wider than standard feet then you may consider getting just 1 size down. These are neoprene material and stretches very well. I would expect them to loosen up a little more after few time of wearing so selecting sizes down is the way to go.I would also recommend that these be worn as socks and to pair them with wet shoes, wading shoes/boots or hiking sandals as they are too thin to just walk around without tearing or damaging them.

They worked great and helped prevent rubbing on the back of our ...
Just used these on our trip to the Caribbean with our new snorkel gear. They worked great and helped prevent rubbing on the back of our feet. I wear a 9.5-10 in women's and I bought size 7 in these because they are more men's size appropriate and mine fit perfectly! You don't want them too large or they will slip off.

Cold river hiking... they work :)
Wore these socks hiking the Virgin Narrows at Zion National Park. As low top socks they are comfortable but whenever cold water is allowed to flow over the crown of these socks the cold will leak all the way through the socks. If you wear them a size smaller that may not be the case. However, once exiting the water, my feet warmed up immediately and they stayed comfortable all through a 6 hour hike.

Size down from shoe size
Bought these for a hiking trip to Zion National Park, in the Narrows and Subway. I wear shoes size 10.5 and bought sock size 9, which is perfect fit. Wife wears shoe size 8.5 and got her a 5 that fit her perfect. Thin enough to wear with my trail shoes, which are snug but not too tight.I'll update after use.

Good for the money, but not a serious river boot.
The fit is a little loose as I wear a 8.5 with a wide foot and got a 9 so that is expected. I think the 8 would have been a little tight however. Used them for a river trek up the narrows at zion this last summer, and they performed pretty well. I think that If I were to do it again I would spend the time and money fitting a pair to my feet that were also were a little taller to keep the rocks out. Walking up a cold fast moving river with lots of small rocks getting in the boots makes for a long day having to stop and dig the rock. But overall I think that these perform well for the money.

Wrong size - not eligible for return even though never worn
The product information did not give any help on choosing the size (men's vs women's shoe size). I ordered my shoe size and the water socks are way too big. However, when I tried to exchange them I discovered the water socks are not eligible for returns. Why????

Decent fit. Horrible Seams
The socks run large. I wear a size 10 shoe and ordered a size 9 since neoprene socks should be snug instead of loose. I received the 9's and they were almost snug, but still fit relatively well. A size 8.5 probably would have been perfect. The problem with these socks is the seams are not smooth on the inside like most other neoprene socks. These seams are sewn from the outside and to the inside leaving a horrible bulge along the seam that runs one side of my foot to the other side right across all my toes making it very uncomfortable. The seam should have been sewn on the outside half only while the inside should have been glued like all other neoprene socks.

Nice but loose fitting
****If you are ordering these order smaller than your shoes size if you want them to fit like a wetsuit.****I have a narrow foot so maybe that's why these fit really loose on me. They are well made and they are comfortable. The grippy sole is a nice feature. The low cuts come above the ankle...like a high tops.

2mm Neoprene Full Length Sock is a Hit
Got the 2mm full length neoprene sock to use with my 7mm neoprene boot and it's the perfect little addition of just the right amount of warmth and filler to keep the feet in 4*C Tobermory water temperature content. Decided on 2mm as any thicker would require a larger boot size for me. Wore on 6 Tobermory dives trips so far, 32 dives, and shows no sign of wear. As good condition as first day use.
