Works perfectly, costs a bit much in my view.
This is one marine product that actually does exactly what they say it does and exactly as easily as shown in their promo videos. It is a MUST for anyone who regularly does boat repair, rigging, repower or autopilot installs.So why the one star short of perfect? Cost really. I see nothing in the kit that would make it approach this price point. It’s completely out of reach of the hobbyist and set for professionals only.I will rent it to people as needed to absorb some cost, although I’ve got my money’s worth already in time and ease of use.

Sold me a unit that was used
bought this unit brand new with required SEA Star fluid. when i un boxed it i saw oil all over the place inside of the compartment. i then unscrewed the fill cap and seen residual of atf RED fluid in reservoir. the bleed hoses also had leftover fluid in them. Number one this was suppossed to be new and unused. Two your not supposeed to use atf fluid in the steering for seastar! The unit did work but i still paid for a NEW UNUSED UNIT! I think somone should make this right!
