I bought this from B HEALTHY seller and fulfilled by AMAZON. I am adding this info here because I read reviews from other customers expressing disappointment and that they received a FAKE product. I came from the country where this KOJIE SAN brand is made and my sister used to buy this soap for us when we were still living in Asia. Finding this here at an affordable price (by American standard) is a good thing.One safety net I follow when shopping here is to first look for products AMAZON sells first. I trust AMAZON will not put their name out there selling fake products. Secondly, I go for products being fulfilled by AMAZON. As much as I want to support other sellers, when it comes to cosmetics, I go to the source first. If that is not possible and I can only get the product here at AMAZON, then it needs to be one that is fulfilled by AMAZON and is returnable.ABOUT THE SOAP. It is AUTHENTIC. It helps control ACNE due to the tea tree oil present in the ingredients. It can be dying yes but that is because of the tea tree oil in it along with the kojic acid. It can also give you a tingly feel on your skin but again that is an effect from the tea tree oil. If you are looking to achieve a white skin like natural born Caucasians, this may not give that to you. However, this soap is good at helping you achieve a clearer skin as it helps reduce the appearance of acne scars, dark spots/melasma as well as sun spots especially on your face. It can take your skin tone 1-2 tones lighter but not like lily white. It takes time to achieve the results but that's just how products like this one work. OVERALL, I AM A HAPPY CUSTOMER and will buy this here again (in fact I just ordered my second batch!).Concerns about the packaging. I bought the two packs of 3 100 grams bar deal here. When I received that order, the boxes looked a bit wrinkled at the bottom but the soaps inside were fine and in great shape. All of them are wrapped in a cellophane with KOJIE SAN label on it written in a slanting position. No KOJIC logo stamped on the smaller size soap bar starting with 100 grams but all of them are wrapped in a cellophane with Kojie San wording all over it.Effectiveness: It depends on what you want to achieve but all I can say is that this soap helps in controlling hormonal acne in general. My melasma is lighter but I know it will take time for it to disappear (if it ever will) as I hadn't had this soap around the past 10 years and just now circling back to using it. I do see good results out of using this soap in terms of the clarify of my complexion. Patience is key and you need to let this sit on your skin for at least 2-5 minutes to achieve the BEST result. Best to use the soap all over your body not just on your face to achieve an even skin tone.Maintenance: Add a face moisturizer with SPF 30 or higher in your regimen when you are using this soap on your face. Also, look for moisturizers labeled "non-comedogenic" (said to not clog pores = clogged pores result to pimples). Use a moisturizing lotion with an SPF 30 or higher as well to keep your skin tone as even and as protected from darkening again. To keep the lighter skin tone you may achieve with this, you will have to devote yourself in using this soap regularly and consistently. If you don't have that patience, then excuse my frankness, but you should never start using this soap. OTHERWISE, you go for it! :) You will not be disappointed as long as you take extra care in who you are buying it from.

IT'S A FIVE STAR!First of all, I have the "brown" skin like the complexion from Asia- The Philippines.I have been using this soap for so many years. Having an Asian complexion, I already know that my complexion will not be as fair/ white as I wanted to be. I am not aiming for the fairest skin complexion while using this soap because it's impossible.My skin complexion got lighter with continuous use of this soap and it will make your skin complexion really lighter to the degree of your skin complexion can be lighter. You have to be aware of your sun exposure while using this. Like I have a situation that I went out with my watch and my wrist got the "lighter" mark where my watch was putted on. So, for many years of using this soap I know the guarantee that this will change your complexion.The soap is orange and there are times that I would get the soap in a light orange color that would make me think if this is a fake one or is it just the batch of the soap that was manufactured on that color.Be aware of tingy feeling when you applied it on to your face especially if you leave it for several minutes. The soap bubbles a lot, and has a desirable scents for me. After using the soap, make sure that you moisturizer cause it does cause dryness on your skin right after you dry you face and body. I would recommend an aloe vera. :)So, like I said using this product and putting this on your bathing regimen will guarantee you of lighter change on your complexion. And also, use this with the loofah scrub, this works very good with it. The only not so negative about his is it melts quickly. I hope that Kojie San will make it more economical to use.I have tried to so many products from this brand and they all work for me from toner, moisturizer, lotion and this soap. I've had this soap now for about 2 weeks now. I must say overall it has my skin feeling so smooth bcz it has removed so many dead skin cells. And I even notice a lighter tone overall. I haven't noticed much change on my cheek where I have the discoloration at but I do believe with a little more time maybe I will see a greater difference. So hopefully I can come back with better results in that area. Be careful on ur face though especially around the eye area. So don't get too close to ur eyes. I found out as I read in one of the reviews that if u let the soap stay on for about 5 to 7 minutes it does better. Hopefully also I will be back with some pictures as I've taken some before pictures!
