Sea-Band Mama Anti-Nausea Acupressure Wristband for Morning Sickness, Colors May Vary, Pack of 2

I ordered these for my first trimester all day nausea. I didn’t notice a difference the first day I wore them but I put them on first thing in the morning the next day and I didn’t feel like complete garbage by the afternoon which had been my trend for a couple weeks. I wouldn’t say they completely relieve all the nausea but they seemed to help me. I also noticed placement is important, if the plastic button is off center on my wrist my nausea will come back. I have small wrists and they were still tight but not cutting off circulation. It’s worth a shot for the price!

My boyfriend bought these bands for me after I kept on begging him for relief from my early pregnancy symptoms. My symptoms were so bad, I called out sick to work twice. I was extremely nauseous and vomited SEVERAL times throughout the day during my fourth and fifth week. I am an RN and believe medicine so I was very tempted in getting an order of Zofran from my physician. Good thing I didn't have to take any medication that may have possibly put my baby at risk!! I got the band on Wednesday evening and by Thursday morning my symptoms were 100% better!! This band may not work for all women, however for the cost and the price of trying to grow a drug-free healthy baby I highly recommend giving it a try. I've been wearing the bands for five days and I'm completely satisfied. I'm not saying my symptoms have completely disappeared, I am pregnant and expect feel a little discomfort. But I'm not vomiting which is wonderful!! I only take the bands off when I shower and quickly put them back on. For any new pregnant mom with symptoms of "morning sickness" ( all day sickness ) I recommend giving these bands a try. I read a few of these reviews shocked to see how many women prefer to take drugs over just trying something homeopathic that won't hurt the growing fetus. I hope this was helpful :-)

I have had two pregnancies with particularly severe nausea- my second and my fifth. I had tried these my second pregnancy, but I couldn't find them (probably because I chucked them) so I bought them again when I was sick as a dog this fifth time. (Pregnancy amnesia? Totally couldn't remember if they worked at all). They actually made me feel worse and I am pretty sure I was applying them in the right place. I hung in there for a few days, it was awful. Plus, my wrists are thin to normal size, yet they left deep marks and were pretty tight. I know I won't dissuade you, if you are like me and so sick you are willing to throw money at any solution, and who knows, maybe they might work? But if you are actively throwing up every day, I highly recommend getting zofran from your provider. It gave me at least a two hour break from gagging twice a day. The good news? My nausea went into the realm of average to normal after a few weeks. Good luck. Sip vitamin water, nibble crackers, suck on life savers, stay away from things that smell like cat poop , baby poop, trash cans, or meats. And sleep a lot if you can. Because a 24 hour day is only 6 hours long if you spend 18 hours unconscious.

I wore these Sea-Bands throughout my first trimester of pregnancy to help with morning sickness. While I didn't notice a massive, long-term difference, they did manage to take the edge off and relieve my nausea for a few minutes at a time when things got really rough. They are worth a shot for mild, temporary comfort, but don't expect a miracle cure.

These truly do work if you follow the directions and wear them BEFORE nausea sets in. The day I got them I put them on instantly as I was having a very bad day, but it was evening and the nausea was at its peak so they did absolutely nothing to curb it. I reread the directions and the next morning I put them on immediately upon waking, before the sick feeling kicked in, and I was amazed that for most of the day I felt almost normal again. It has been three days now and as long as I put them on early enough in the morning, the nausea is controlled to a minimum. It will kick in again if I wait too long between meals, but these bands really do help and I am no longer incapacitated by this awful first-trimester sickness. I took off one star because the bands are very tight (that is how they are designed to be so the ball can press on your P-6 pressure point) and after many hours I feel as though they are cutting off my circulation. Also a negative for me — the light color of these bands gets dirty-looking with continual use so a darker color would be better in my opinion. Aside from those minor issues, these are great.

These bands are little miracle workers! While aesthetically they may not be winning any awards and, yes, they can get a little itchy with prolonged wear; That really is of little to no concern when the alternative is needing to lie down 24/7 so as not to loose what little food/ drink you’ve been able to consume because even basic functions leave your stomach turning. (Don’t even get me started on what one thinks about their fashion choices while feeling this way.) As with my first, I am determined to consume as little medication as possible so these were my go to and I’m beyond pleased with the results! While they haven’t completely eliminated my nausea it’s greatly reduced it to the point where I can function again. I still rest as often as possible, hydrate, and eat many small meals throughout the day to help but I’m off the couch and have managed to complete most of my everyday tasks. I was even hungry today and didn’t just have to force myself to eat! I’ve been putting them on first thing in the morning, before my nausea really starts and have been wearing them all day long. I do take them off before bed so my wrists can get a break. Definitely worth every penny!

Way too tight. They cut off my wrist blood supply! Keep in mind - I weigh 96 lbs and have extra small wrists- still too small. And they’re not stretching at all.

I am 8 weeks pregnant and have been continually nauseous for weeks, but this week has by far been the worst and most debilitating. No vomiting, just a constantly upset stomach that comes in waves. I was starting to feel like I’d never feel good again. It was causing me a lot of stress. My doctor mentioned these and I was desperate so I figured I’d give them a try. They didn’t take effect right away, but after wearing for about 1 day I am able to function again. I took them off before going to sleep and woke up feeling sick again in the middle of the night. Put them back on, went back to sleep, and woke up feeling great, which hadn’t happened in weeks. I feel so much better I can’t believe it. Definitely worth a try for $9!
