Tractive Special Edition GPS Tracking Device with Crystals from Swarovski, Pink

The Tractive works great, I have both the 2g and newer 3G and they work great. Have been using them for a year and still work better than two other brands I tried that were twice the cost.

DO NOT BUYWe purchased your product a few weeks ago. Since it's purchase and activation it continues to say not reporting. We have gone through all of the help documents and regardless of whether or not the product is in or outside, it is not reporting.Currently, the lights indicate no GPS even though, according to the coverage maps on their site via Tmobile, we are located in a area with full 2g coverage. We purchased the tracker from amazon and are returning the as product is not reliable and does not work as advertised.What is ridiculous is that in order to even know if the product will work you must sign up for service prior to even testing the tracker for reliability and accuracy. Additionally, the only way to contact support is via a pre-generated contact us email form that continues to recommend you to a place on the help blog and never actually responds. According to their website they cannot (will not) refund amounts of purchased plans once paid for and in order to discover whether or not the tracker works you must purchase the service plans!The website is misleading with information it provides to the consumer and makes it really hard to understand your options with purchasing service.I am very tech savvy and have worked with several other tracking devices (very successfully) and was hoping this would work to track my pet effectively and accurately, needless to say this product is not one I would recommend at all!Additionally, customer service is horrible, they only communicate via email and even then do not seem to resolve the problems with applicable answers. They also takes days to respond!If you value your money and do not want to lose it: DO NOT BUY

Excellent product. Works great

We bought this for our 30kg Goldador whose impulse control is poor when faced with wildlife off lead.It was easy to set up using the app, just put in the codes on the box and hey presto. They say £3.33 a month for the 3G/GPRS, but you have to pay upfront for at least a year of service, without which it will not work. This is the minimum, I signed up for a 2 year premium at £120. The advantage of premium is that if the tracker goes wrong or is lost, they will replace it FOC.We use it as piece of mind when out walking about 3 hours a day, we turn it off when not in use and only need to charge it once a week. I find it a little annoying that attaching it to the charger turns it on, but it remains on when the charging is complete. It takes a couple of hours to charge, but if left overnight, you can lose 10% of the charge before getting to use it.In use, we clip it to the dog's harness between her shoulderblades where it is away from her neck; she does not seem to notice it is there. The clip is secure and has survived many dashes into tight undergrowth without coming loose or falling off. The unit itself is robust too, no obvious scratches or damage despite rough treatment, my only comment is that the pink colour has faded a bit where it is exposed to the elements.Our dog is an enthusiastic swimmer and it has had repeated (probably 50 or more by now) immersions in fresh and salt water, and still works normally, we haven't left it submerged for any length of time though.The app is good, simple to understand and operate, even for a technophobe like me. You can put it on several devices and sign in using the same username / password, so no need to buy multiple subscriptions as one reviewer had done. The map function is accurate and updates well, recording a good history of where we have been and when. The live tracking works really nicely, it can take a few seconds to start up, but when it is working, it gives high frequency updates to allow really good tracking. One thing to note is that the tracker relies on receiving both a phone and GPS signal, if in an area where one or both are poor, it does not work so well. If you are planning trips through a forest in the middle of the outback, it probably won't make you happy, but for us, even in a fairly thick forest it works adequately. I particularly like the "find" function for when things go quiet. Just hold your phone up and it uses the camera to show the landscape with a superimposed box arrow with the dog's name, direction and distance on the screen.I wish I could buy spare clips, one did get picked up and chewed, luckily not the one we use most of the time, and I was unable to replace it!I have read of complaints about costs, but in my opinion, it is a small price to pay for peace of mind and is well worth it.

As a tracker, it's absolutely amazing! It takes a little while to activate the 'live' mode where you can track your dog by the second, but the accuracy is perfect so it's definitely worth it! My only disappointment was with the subscription cost for 3G that you have no choice but to pay. It's almost twice as expensive as the tracker for a year's subscription which makes the tracker quite expensive, especially as I have two dogs! Other than this, I'd definitely recommend!

Great for the smaller dogs as all the other bark collars I looked at were NO firmly so dog gets used to verbal command as well - have not had it that long so unsure about the battery life and have not used mobile app so cannot comment on that - the seller is very good and no quibble, very quick replacement product when the first one sent appeared to be faulty.

This is well worth the money but I wish they did a slightly bigger clip than the two supplied. I have trouble clipping it on to our perfect fit harnesses but a clip a fraction bigger would do it,
