I never thought I'd actually write a review about a toaster - but this one actually has everything you need. Truly.After my tried and trusted toaster of many years finally died on me I was back in the market and believe it or not purchased more than a couple, finding deal-breaking flaws in the designs of each. Finally I came across the Homasy toaster and I my only regret is that it did not find its place on my counter sooner.Just as important to me as the features of any counter-permanent appliance is the fit and finish, and overall appearance, so let's start there. The Homasy has clean lines and a high quality stainless appearance that will match high end appliances. It does not have any plastic to interrupt its clean stainless skin.The usability of the machine is high - both sides operate independently and function as high quality toasters with all the features you'd expect from higher end toasters like Breville or the like - except you get double! The LED screens are perfect with countdown timers and an indication of the selected darkness setting. Included with the toaster is a darkness guide, which I tested and did find to be very accurate across several different kinds of bread. Of course, gluten free bread did perform a little differently but that's to be expected. Worth noting was that both sides were consistent so that a 3 setting delivered perfectly identical results from left and right sides, for example. The defrost setting adds a bit more time for things like frozen waffles, and it seems to work as intended. I tested a couple with results that I was pleased with.I'm compelled to try to provide a negative with reviews and with this particular item I struggle. Functionally, there is nothing I have found that I would change - the toaster is that good. Design-wise, the front's high polish surface does collect fingerprints a bit - especially in a kitchen environment. Perhaps a brushed surface with less luster would render a less fingerprint prone surface. This said, a microfiber swipe and any marks are gone, so I'm not removing a star for what I'd consider to be very normal appliance behavior.For the price point, the overall attractiveness, and the features this toaster provides it is very difficult to pass it by - I'd definitely put it on your short list of contenders!

Awesome toaster. Just what our family of 4 needs. I was getting sick of standing by the toaster making endless batches only to have someone complain that their toast was cold 😡 I love the look of this toaster and it’s incredibly easy to use. It was fun to find my preferred toasting level (I like 3) and I like the timer, so if my kids are impatient I can tell them how much time is left. The high lift function is great for preventing burnt fingers or dangerous attempts at inserting metal forks. I love the defrost option because we buy bread in bulk from Costco and throw slices in to defrost and toast as needed. Saves a lot of money. This is also a good looking toaster that I don’t mind displaying out on our counters. I received this product for free in exchange for my review but the opinions are my own.

Nice looking, nice features (the countdown timer is handy). Unfortunately, my husband likes very dark toast ( I would almost call it burnt) but even on the highest setting, this toaster only turns it to a medium level. He has to put the toast down twice on the highest setting. I like my toast rather light, and I use setting number 3. I would guess that setting 2 or 1 would barely warm the bread. It will do, but it sure would be nice not to have to pop the toast down twice to get it right.

It has been years since I bought a toaster. My wife has done nothing but complain about our old toaster because we have such a hard time with the settings. My mother likes her toast one way, my wife another, and the grandkids, well that is another story all together. We had our old toaster so confused, it did not know what to make. With this toaster my wife can set it any way she wants and it comes out perfect every time. It doesn't hurt that it looks very pretty on our counter top. Now, everyone is happy. Needless to say I am very happy with our Homasy 4 slice Toaster. Happy wife, happy life. Thank you Homasay.

Toast evenly, Defrost setting great for frozen pastries. Popup is gentle not like other toasters which send items up like a rocket. As with any appliance with polished chrome finish it shows fingerprints and other things that make it sometimes a cleaning issue it would have been better with a brushed finish. The digitial display adds to the current technological appeal but also remaining time for your toasting operation.

So I just bought this earlier this week and finally used it for the first time; it's replacing a very cheap (like $15) Sunbeam two-slot one that I'd had for at least 13 years and, understandably, wasn't cutting it anymore. So for my first-use review of this one:Loves: I love that it has four slots, crumb trays you can pull out from behind, and shows you an actual countdown timer in addition to the number you chose (1-6) to toast on. Of course the bagel button and beautiful stainless design are also nice.Dislikes: This does not toast to the darkness shown in the manual that comes with it. Not even close. I still had to put frozen waffles through two toast cycles just to get them semi-toasted (first on setting 5, then on setting 1). I used three of the four toaster slots, and the waffle that was in the third slot literally flew up and out of the toaster when it popped up, so I had to fish it out from behind the toaster.So yes, this works better than my beat old Sunbeam, but not enough of an improvement for being brand new and costing 4x as much.Photo is of two of the three waffles after going through twice, on setting 5 then setting 1.
