Fusion Nail 400 / 3000 grit buffer half block

I recently re-entered the model building hobby after a 30 year absence. Things have changed significantly in the intervening years!These buffer blocks are the modeler's dream. One side is 400 grit, and the other is 3000 grit. So with one tool you can do some quality sanding, and with the other, you can polish up rough plastic to a high shine.I dropped one star because the block doesn't appear to handle water too well. I got it a little wet during some sanding, and it appeared to begin to come apart. Will test it again and post an update if my impression proves to be untrue.If you are trying it on your nails (...yes, I did...) it works great there too.Can't beat the price or free shipping. Over all, the fine grit and buffer are a a perfect combination for my ridgy, fragile nails. I can get a nice glossy finish on the bare nails....BUTI ordered this same product in January and it came as a 'break apart' of 5 smaller pieces each about 1.5" long and .75" wide. Perfect for being able to use all the edges. This one, ordered in April, came as a big block of 3.5 x 1.5. It can't be cut into pieces, because of a solid core, and that means I won't be able to utilize the center of either side, nor will I be able to have the little blocks scattered around my house in handy locations. I am disappointed so I will look for the split version elsewhere.

I searched for these online after being charged $5 to receive this treatment at a nail salon. I do not use polish on my nails, this makes them shine like you have clear on. It is actually a party trick of mine now because it makes that much of a difference. I bought several for gifts, everyone loves it.

This leaves my nails very smooth and shiny! Its smaller size makes it easier to handle than the larger blocks. I also like that the polishing side is a lot more durable than other brands that I have used which shredded easily.

Works better and faster than any nail buffer I've tried!! Love these!!! Will order again!!! My nails come out so shiny and when I add white pencil under it looks like a French manicure!!
