As I expected
Tried some from a friend. Really liked it so I decided to buy some for myself. It came as expected. I love it!

Just OK
This cleanser is very greasy, and has to be wiped off with washcloth. It is nice for dry skin, but it's not very good at removing waterproof mascara

SO GREASY
This is so much greasier than any other balm I've tried. The only reason it has 2 stars instead of 1 is that it did take off my makeup. But I had to wash my face 3x afterwards to get to not feel like I'd slathered oil all over it.

Def Dont Recommend
Hated this. Left a greasy residue and required a washcloth scrubbing my skin to remove (hello wrinkles). I thought it would be similar to the cleansing balm from Clinique which I LOVE but nope, definitely not. Smelled and felt very cheap, which is wild for the price.

Why the fragrance!
Almost perfect ingredients minus fragrance. Why are we putting hormone disruptors on our face? It’s smells like an old woman perfume too. Skin feels nice afterwards though which is why it got a good rating

Lovely balm, not great for waterproof mascara
Feels lovely on the skin and is very softening. Pleasant, barely-there scent. However, for me the purpose of oily cleansing balms is mainly to remove strong, waterproof eye makeup, and this doesn’t dissolve those products as efficiently as cheaper, mineral-oil based cleansers. So I’m unlikely to buy it again.

As someone with acne prone skin I love this face wash. It’s gentle and keeps my skin so clear without drying it out
