Works Great - with a Little Common Sense!
When my electric dryer broke down recently, I was on the fence whether to have it repaired or buy a new one. So I started searching for a drying rack to do the job until I made up my mind.Somewhere along the way, I came across the listing for the Panda Ventless Dryer. I read the reviews, and they were generally favorable--in that the unit does what it's supposed to do, givenreasonable expectations.Meaning, if you are wanting the power of a full sized dryer, then buy a full-sized dryer! But if you are open-minded and want a simple and effective method to dry your laundry, this could do for you.To aid you, allow me to give you a few pearls from my experience:1. Do not overload. If you are cramming the poor thing until it can barely zip closed this will not dry satisfactorily. The garments need a bit of air circulation. I use a standing garment rack to hang dry some of my wash, and use the Panda for heavier items like pants and bath towels. You could dry all your garments in the Panda, but for me it's a more efficient use of time. Put your clothes on hangers and hang them in the dryer so they don't crowd each other. Then zip it closed and set the timer.2. Ignore the reviews by the peeps who claim they dried their clothes in 20 minutes. Especially if, like myself, you live in the northeast US. I have been using this unit in the hottest summer on record, with 70-100% humidity. If you expect results at this small amount of time, you will think something is wrong with your dryer. There isn't! Go ahead and set the timer for the full 180 minutes. What I do is let it run a few hours, then check for garments that are dry or almost dry. Remove them, and you are free to add new pieces. When the timer runs down, simply start the 180 minute cycle over again. It takes a little practice to streamline your personal system, but once you have it down you may like it better than a conventional dryer.3. Buy yourself some helpful accessories. I bought a bag of clothes clips and they make hanging clothes on hangers so much easier. With the clips I can hang 4 or 5 pairs of undies or socks on a single hanger. Or attach jeans and pants so they can hang full length in the dryer. I find they are great for all ny logistical laundry hanging problems. And they were cheap! As I mentioned, I bought an inexpensive clothing rack to hang some of my laundry to air dry. It's also handy to put items that are a bit damp to finish drying, while freeing up space in the Panda.Another thing I will comment on is laundry softness. Like any hang drying method, your clothes will come out less wrinkled. But if you want your clothes Snuggle-soft, you may be disappointed. To help with this, buy some nice fabric softener. The clothes will come out softer than without, and they will smell lovely.Well, that's all I've got, folks! My review is that the Panda is a great little dryer if you are willing to work with it's limitations and not against. There's nothing complicated to using it properly. Just basic common sense. After getting to know it, I find that i really enjoy using it. So much in fact that I have put my decision about my broken full-sized dryer on "HOLD". Indefinitely!

Perfect for small apartments!
My apartment building's laundry room has only one washing machine and one dryer machine to serve 13 rented rooms in one building. So you can imagine that both machines are constantly occupied. Because I can never use them in time, I got fed up and got my own portable machines. My mom bought a mini washing machine for me and I bought this portable dryer to go with it.This machine is fantastic! Its height is only a few inches shorter than me (I am about 5',3" tall). It dries heavy fabrics very well! I have used this for jeans, sweaters, towels, and even a small blanket! It's also very spacious and holds a lot! It is easy to set up by simply placing the poles into slots and then just plug into the wall. The timer can be set from a few minutes up to 180 minutes/3 hours. My stuff usually takes about 1 1/2 to 3 hours depending on how heavy my clothes are. For me, this is far better than my previous method of air drying with a mini fan for 8 hours. If you worry about an electric bill, it uses very little power. Using this hasn't hurt my power bill at all.I am very thrilled to do laundry for free in my own home. I've had this dryer for 5 months now and I haven't had problems with it. I actually look forward to doing laundry every weekend!A Few Tips:-- Plastic hangers do not melt! I suggest getting small hangers vs a standard size to avoid hangers and clothes from bumping into one another. It also saves space while everything is drying, and allows air to flow freely. For towels, I used a normal-sized hanger. It also depends on how big your stuff is. Small hangers may not work for some people.-- Invest in clothing pins so that clothes don't fall off the hangers. I found a pack at a dollar store for $1. I've seen some around Amazon and at a local grocery store too.-- Don't stuff too many clothes at once. Doing so will take much longer than 3 hours to dry. The best way to avoid this is to make sure you don't wash too many clothes at once.

Holy wow! Oh no, what??
》》 》update 4/24/2020. I have had this machine for awhile now,(a year in june 2020). It has started to make a noise almost like its dieing. I love this machine but not sure why it is making that sound. It is taking a bit more time to dry things. Anyone else that has this having this issue or had? I really love this machine but can not afford to buy another one.《《《I was skeptical on ordering this so I made sure to read every review possible. I bought it. It works great. I use the whole 3 hrs be cause if not, something's are still wet. It was super easy to put together. Very simple to use. The only reason it has four stars from me is because I did not realize how much my electric bill would change. Holy wow. It has gone up from about 65 to 75bucks a month to over 180bucks a month. And this is the only thing I have added to my electrical use. It still beats going to laundry mat when I can get it done and dried at home. I would recommend it even though my electric trick bill and I are not currently liking eachother.

Very pleased with this purchase!
We are using this with our RV. We don't have the space or plumbing for a combination washer/dryer so the only other option is this dryer, and it is actually quite efficient. It does take getting used to the concept, and it's not as easy as convenient as a spin dryer, but one really shouldn't be expecting that, at all. In harsh winter, it gets setup inside, so it is a bit of an inconvenience, but at least we can get our laundry dry now, so hard to complain about that. Mild winter & summer time this sits outside under the awning, and again works surprisingly well. Very easy to set up or take apart and store when not in used.

Es útil para lo básico.
No esperen grandes resultados con ropa muy mojada.

Fantastic idea - fairly roomy
Fantastic idea - fairly roomy, albeit a little awkward to try and hang more than a few items. Dries quickly and quietly and doesn't damage clothes making even the "hang to dry" items feel safe :) Don't use on a hot day though; it does put off quite a bit of heat in the area it takes up (like an oven). Dries towels, socks and underwear in about an hour, bigger items in about 2. Folds up and fits in a small space when not in use making it perfect for a small space and wonderful complement to the portable washing machine.

worked well
Bought it for my daughter after watching some you tube videos. Easy to put together and take apart. Small footprint. Not loud while running the heating fan. Dried 12 shirts including hoodie in 2 hrs. Thought it looked interesting.
