A Freelancer’s Perfect Travel Companion
I was looking for a solid Bluetooth keyboard that I could easily pack into my bag since I am constantly traveling and doing freelance work on the go. I tend to have my laptop on an elevated stand when I work, so I need a backup keyboard that can be used flat on a table (this prevents my wrists from getting sore when I type). After researching so many Bluetooth keyboard options on Amazon, Sanwa caught my eye because it was simple, slim and compact. I was also a fan of its overall aesthetic since all my work gear tends to be black/gray and sleek. Although there weren’t too many reviews, I took a chance and I’m glad I did.The keyboard came packaged nicely and I was surprised to see that it had a magnet to keep it closed when folded. Things are constantly moving around in my bag when I travel, so I really appreciate that this feature will prevent my keyboard from getting damaged during transit. The individual keys are nice to the touch and are relatively quiet (something I appreciate when working in crowded public spaces). And best of all, this is easy to connect to my laptop.I have yet to test the battery life or switching back and forth between different devices, but I plan to test this with my tablet soon. Should there be any changes in performance or overall quality, I will be sure to update my review! Overall, Sanwa created a solid product and I’m looking forward to increasing my freelance productivity with this little guy!

Nice to type on, easy to connect, light, and very portable. Basically everything you need.
I love this keyboard! I am very picky about my keyboards and type very fast since I spend a lot of time doing it. This keyboard is great. It does have a very slight learning curve since some keys are, by necessity, smaller than others, but I got used to it within minutes. It’s NOT an inconvenience AT ALL. Mostly, it was the size and location of the “B” key and the size of the “Backspace” key, but like I said, it’s just a really tiny adjustment that’s barely worth mentioning. I forgot about it within the first thirty minutes. The keyboard is divided in a way that makes sense and feels very natural to type one once you get used to it.Furthermore, I love the feel of the keys themselves—they feel solid and present and are very nice to type on. They’re NOT loud or anything, but they’re not completely silent either. Personally, I like it and it doesn’t bother me. The keyboard is also magnetic. It closes very nicely and I’m not worried about it flapping around in my bag. When it’s closed, it is not bulky at all. Connecting it to my iPad Pro 2018 was the work of seconds and I am using it right now to type this review. Worth the money.EDIT: Have had it for over a year now. Still works great, I rarely have to charge it and when I do, it doesn't take long. Still love the feel of the keys.

Almost gave it 4 stars but it deserves 5...
Pros: I am impressed by this keyboard (I got the full one, not the folding travel one). The key presses feel very natural and that is really important to me. It connects easily.* Another concern I had before getting it is if there was a noticeable lag between typing and it showing up on the screen of my ipad. There is none.* I got it for $25. How can you possibly beat that price? It seems sturdy. I am a happy customer.* The keyboard will go to sleep automatically after a few minutes of inactivity. It will instantly wake up with the press of any key. Nice battery saving feature without it being inconvenient at all.Cons:* I was surprised that it took 2 AAA batteries and it wasn't USB chargeable instead. Seems kind of strange these days to not have something that you can charge.* The on/off switch is tiny and located underneath the right front corner of the keyboard. Thankfully I realized I won't be needing it much because the keyboard automatically shuts off after inactivity. Still.... why they didn't just put it somewhere on top seems a strange because it is kind of awkward to get to when you do what to shut it off manually. All in all, it is worthy of 5 stars despite a couple tweak suggestions. I would recommend this to anyone. If anything changes over time, I will edit this review to reflect that.

Don’t know much about sleep mode, but here’s what I do know:
I cannot speak knowledgeably about sleep mode, as this was a birthday gift for my adult son. He certainly has not complained about it, and would be likely to say if he had issues with it. Still, take my rating there with a grain of salt. He was very pleased with the rest, and was very happy with the form factor and the action of the keys. He took plenty of piano in his youth and that helped make him a demon typist, and that haptic feedback from the key action is very important in allowing him to type at speed.

It has become indispensable!
Originally I got this on a whim, I hurt my thumb and text a LOT for my job, I decided to get a keyboard so I could spread out the duty from just the thumb to two hands. At first I thought, it was "good enough" but could use some other options, be bigger, have a touchpad etc, but after trying two other brands I came back to the Sanwa and have donated the other two - the size of the keyboard is perfect for my small Asian hands, the battery life is very good considering I text a LOT for my job - have I mentioned that? We're talking average of 400-500 texts a day - no wonder my poor thumb is ouchie! The keyboard stays on my desk 24-7 so the low profile and smaller size is easily distinguishable from my normal sized computer keyboard. I stopped getting confused about which one I'm using within a couple of days. Lol.. I can also stand my phone up using just one of the flip out tabs. I would definitely recommend this keyboard especially if you don't have to have a keyboard that fits in your pocket. Btw the keyboards that DO fold into thirds have weirdly shaped letter keys. Ew. This keyboard is just lovely.

Like another customer said, beyond expectations
This pertains specifically to the Sanwa bluetooth keyboard WITHOUT the center folding mechanism or the fold-out stands.I almost never leave a review, but this was beyond my expectations from a non-mainstream bluetooth keyboard. I hope Sanwa keeps making this and putting it on Amazon.ca.Pros:- It's very light, just a little heavier than the small Apple Magic keyboard, yet still less than 300g. The weight is important to me since I'll be taking it in my backpack.- No connectivity issues and no noticeable key registration lag whatsoever. The swapping between devices feature takes about 1 second to occur, but I've encountered no issues with switching between my PC and tablet.- The keys are clicky, yet silent enough for an office space. They have about the feel of a decent laptop keyboard, with about 0.5mm extra key travel which is nice.- Charges very quick, and I've been using it non-stop without charging for over 1 week now since I opened it.Drawbacks/Wishes for improvements:- Spacing of the keys are ever so slightly squished together horizontally, by within 1cm narrower from a full-size desktop keyboard, but I've tried narrower keyboards than this, and this one is still comfortable to type on after getting used to it.- I do wish the keyboard clicks were a bit stiffer and clicky - it does feel ever so slightly mushy.- There is a bit of keyboard flex due to the fairly flimsy plastic chassis, but I don't mind it.I kept this over the Logitech K380, cause the Logitech was dropping some key presses. The key feel on this Sanwa feels a bit mushier (still pleasant though), with a bit more key travel.A 5-star rating for me nonetheless. Once again, the manufacturer should keep making these.

Beyond expectation
It’s all you could ask from a portable keyboard. Quality + functional + well-considered details = 120% satisfaction.I especially like the soft touching cover - finally, something not cold/slippery/shinny, very different from the highly male-centered North American style.Bit pricy, but it does offer something rare on the market.

This keyboard has me spoiled. My favourite item to use daily.
The media could not be loaded. I got this keyboard because I didn't want to continue using the on-screen keyboard on both phone and tablet, especially for long emails (if I find my computer can't be used)This keyboard has me SPOILED I tell you! I love using it daily!- Just as it shows with the photos in the description, you can connect with 3 devices smoothly- You do need 2 AAA batteries (wait for your order to arrive to see if you have those thin sized batteries at hand)- You get the user manual, a thick box to place the keyboard in that also comes with a thin plastic-like cover (shows in the video provided)- I had added both a video and photo of the keyboard but I did forget to show the 2 stands the keyboard has where you can prop up your phone(s) and/or tablet device (comes in handy)My only warning is to watch that LED light on the top right hand corner as that is for both showing the keyboard is on, and CAPS.Other than that. This is an lovely keyboard and I would recommend it if anyone needed a smaller-than-regular-travel-size-keyboard.

Great keyboard for the price
Keyboard works fine on my Linux computer. It connects on boot and lasts many days without being recharged. The only negative point is that it automatically put itself on cap lock on wake-up which is a pain as you need to revert to lowercase each and every time you wake-up the keyboard. Otherwise, I am quite happy with this keyboard.

Capslock seems to auto turn on/off on connect, but otherwise affordable and useful.
I like how light this device is, it having multi connection, rechargeable, has the standard keyboard buttons (including PrintScreen which I use), and with angled legs. There isn one caveat that another reviewer also mentioned where the Capslock button seems to immediately auto turn on/off on connect every time which can become a problem switching between PC/iOS (on iOS it triggers keyboard language change by default which is kind of problematic - though there is a workaround where it can be turned off by digging around in settings) , but otherwise affordable and useful so it is a small nuisance compared to the price.
