I am really frustrated because when I saw this design I instantly knew I wanted the case. I didn’t mind paying 40 because I was thinking of the durability and longevity that the case would provide. I bought this case on the 8th of January and today is the 1st of January. I haven’t even had the case a whole month. I drop the case while putting my Pros in the case and the way it fell causes the inside lip to break which is where the clamp locks down on it. Once that broke the case is useless. I can’t believe I paid 40 for that. You would think that the case needed to be bashed on a wall to break it but I guess not. You can see where it broke on the pictures

Really good protection coming from Pelican. With that said, there are some issues you should be aware of if you aren't already based on my experience.1. The charging light will not be visible once you place your AirPods Pro in the Pelican Marine case.2. You will not be able to use your wireless charging pad to charge your AirPods Pro when it is in the Pelican Marine case, you can only use your Lightning cable.3. The rubber cover for the charging port is rather flimsy and may come loose when you remove your charging cable. I highly suggest using a tiny drop of super glue on the plastic tab (attached to the rubber cover) which attaches to the bottom of the case, otherwise you'll lose it in your carpet/floor, never to be found again.4. On the interior of the lid, there is a small strip of adhesive used to secure the top of the AirPods case to the interior of the Pelican case. I suggest you do NOT use the adhesive strip if you intend to remove your AirPods Pro from the case frequently.It is a complete !@#$%^&*( to remove once in place. If you need to remove the AirPods Pro from the Pelican case, you'll need a very thin strip of flexible plastic sheet to use as a shim to free your AirPods Pro from the case.I hope you find this review helpful!

With the name Pelican you expect quality. Do not be fooled by this Case Mate over priced garbage. Looks nice sturdy at first but in less than 90 days of use the bottom lip of the case where it latches shut splintered off the bottom. This flaw in design renders it unusable. I reached out to Case mate for a replacement and was informed I would need to send another $7 for shipping. This bringing my out of pocket over $50 for an item that did not last 3 months. I es fooled once but not twice. I told them to keep the replacement and no thanks. Spend you’re money on a case that will hold up to normal daily use. I took care of mine and it did not stand the test of daily use. Durability ZERO stars. Sturdiness before breakage 3 stars. Waterproofing while new 5 stars.

Really wanted to like this product but it has been an expensive disappointment. The plastic is not the usual Pelican plastic - it is a cheaper plastic. The eye that jets out the side to connect to the clip is rigid and weak. This part snapped in the first two weeks I had it when I sat down in my car seat. Fortunately, I was still able to use the clip with the one snapped side. But, two weeks later the case was clipped to me and I rolled over on my bed and the other side snapped. If the clip could swivel, maybe it would have lasted longer. Then since I was no longer able to use the clip so I keeping the case in my pocket but with it in my pocket the rubber stopper on the bottom, which protects the charging port, popped out and I lost it. They need to glue or some how fuse the rubber to the plastic to keep the stopper in place.So just a month after purchase I’m unable to clip the case to myself and it is no longer water proof and the charging port is now exposed to dirt and lint. Cannot recommend this case.

I ordered this having high expectations because it’s the pelican brand and is suppose to be great quality… Well after getting it and opening it, I realized the bottom where it latches on was broken. Which made me incredibly sad. I spoke to customer support and was offered a new one if I return this one or a refund if I return this one. I then looked at the reviews and realized this has happened to multiple people where it’s breaking. I hope after sending this back they’ll realize it’s a defect in the product and hopefully pelican can work on this issue.

I have always been a huge fan of Pelican cases, until this one. It’s feels poorly conceived, and has major flaws. It seems as if they just threw something at the market to have skin in the game.First: why would you not design it so the AirPods case fits snugly in the bottom section of the case? You open the case and it just rattles around.Second: though I knew it was part of the design, I would imagine they have engineers that can design something better than to need you to adhere a plastic cover over the top of the case to save it from getting scuffed up due to the cases designLastly: the charge port cover is a joke. Instead of making a good, solid port cover, they made a cover for the charge port that is attached by such a small/thin rubber tether, that it tore off the first time I removed my charger cable.As I removed the cable the edge of the cable tip caught the plug cover as I was pulling it out… even though I was holding everything out of the way. It ripped it off with very little force. As excited as I was to see this as a case option for my AirPod Pros, I now have a non-waterproof turd because the port cover fell out somewhere, since there was no longer anything to tether it to the case.

This one I am still on the fence about... The thing seems to be very protective, but it is beginning to come apart. There is an internal shell in the lid that has separated from the body. I really expected more from Pelican. I would have given it a better review if I didn't have to repair it.

I like this case as it is durable and protective, you can also do wireless charging with the case on. Overall this is a big improvement for me can the typical silicone case as I was always loosing my top lid cover and it offered only drop protection. Good upgrade in my book and as always good quality from pelican cases.
