I (like other posters here) also had a piece of furniture, in this case a footstool, that merely "dropped" together and could not be picked up without the base remaining on the floor. After drilling and tapping the upper piece, this bolt fit perfectly from the bottom of the base to the upper upholstered section. the result is the problem is now solved and no longer a nuisance. (and as others have stated, with stainless steel, rust is not an issue)

I'm a big fan of stainless steel and use it in may applications. These I used to assemble a chair. They work great and I don't have to worry about them rusting should they get wet.

The head of the bearing bolt on my band saw pully broke off. After using the proper drill bit to pull the threaded part out, this bolt fit perfectly.

These bolts are sturdy and absolutely perfect for using with my treadmill and matched others but the length I deeded.

Theses are great stainless steel quality bolts. I used two of them to close up holes on my F150 that were allowing road dust to come through on my rear bumper.
