Nice, but Surface Pro users be forewarned.
It's certainly neat; Attach it and get another USB port for your Surface Pro, but it's far from perfect.Well, for starters it's definitely not custom made for a Pro 2 because it will block the volume down button on the tablet, and unless you own a original Type Cover that has volume control on the keyboard, you'll be stuck controlling the volume from within the OS. Also, I noticed that my USB mouse would stop performing reliably if I had it's receiver, a wireless headset receiver, and a SD card plugged into it. The problem arises after the SD card is inserted and stops when its removed, or the other USB device is taken out.Is it nice? Definitely, it looks well on the Surface Pro 2, but if you absolutely need your volume down button, look elsewhere. I'll hang onto it I suppose.

Every Surface Should Come With One
This item fits the bevel on the Surface Pro 2 perfectly. As mentioned in other reviews, the width causes it to block the volume down button; not a big deal for me. Does not work well if you have the Manvex Leather Case on as the case prevents the adapter from plugging in all the way. You can still get it to read the USB ports with the case on, it's just inconsistent and drops the connection occasionally.I think the SD and MicroSD card readers are nice, but unnecessary. I'd rather the adapter simply have two USB 3.0 ports, no SD/MicroSD card slot and not block the volume button.Really like the snug and secure fit when the adapter sits flush against the Surface. This unit also fits any USB port, not just the USB port on the surface. I've connected it to a few USB hubs without any issue.

DOES NOT WORK WITH THE SURFACE 3 - BLOCKS CHARGER PORT!
WARNING!! THIS DOES NOT WORK WITH THE SURFACE 3! I did not notice that it did not say it woud I assumed it would . If you get this for the surface 3 it will BLOCK the charger port. It also does not fit as snug as it does on the 2. They would have to make a new version for the 3 that is a little bit shorter and re-do the angle so it molds to the side better. I am using it with a USB 3 extention cord on another computer and its fine there. So I will keep it. and its a nice product. I just want to let people know that it WILL NOT WORK with the new surface 3. I think that should be added in the description right at the top.

Works as you'd expect, even on a Hackintosh
Works great out of the box and does exactly what it's supposed to. Using it on a Gen 1 Surface Pro Hackintosh running OS X El Capitan and it worked great with no drivers or further hacking needed. Allows me to run an external WiFi adapter (with requisite kext mods) and a wireless mouse with no issues (the trackpad on the Touch Cover 2 is a bit... weird). As others had mentioned, this does cover half of the volume rocker, but that's not a huge deal for me. Certainly does not trump the usefulness and value (this being less that comparable items). Why only 4 stars? Because - with me - five stars means "exceeded my expectations". This one was not a surprise (good or bad), and does exactly what it's supposed to do.

You pay a pretty penny for the privilege
This product is one of few that is actually molded to the form factor of the side of the Surface Pro 2, and that's really the reason you want to buy this thing. You pay a pretty penny for the privilege, and if you have any Surface Pro 2-specific case on your table, this is almost guaranteed not to fit on the unit with the case on - I wish I had thought of this, before placing my order. That isn't Juiced's fault, so I won't knock them for it in the "how many stars?' category, but you should know that unless you're using your SP2 bare, you really won't need or want this device. Get something like an Anker 4 port USB hub for much less money, instead.

Looks good, but not reliable
This Juiced USB hub/card reader for the Surface Pro 2 is a nice idea, but seems poorly executed. I bought it so that I could connect both a USB mouse and flash drive to my Surface Pro 2 while using the Pro 2 at my desk, figuring that a product designed specifically for the Pro 2 would work well for me.The Juiced hub does fit the Pro 2, but covers the volume control - meaning that if I'm using the hub I've got to use software controls for volume. Inconvenient, but not deal-breaking. If this were the only issue with this hub, I'd be satisfied with it.The real problem, though, is that this hub is unreliable. I've noticed that my USB mouse will periodically lose connection when plugged into the hub, which basically renders the hub useless to me. Unplugging/replugging the mouse wakes it up, but this is not acceptable. My Pro 2 never loses the mouse when it's plugged in directly, and it's never lost the mouse when plugged into my Pro 2 via an Anker slim 4-port USB 3.0 hub. In short, you're probably better off not buying the Juiced hub and buying the Anker hub instead, which is half the price of this one. The Anker doesn't sit neatly on the side of the Pro 2 and it's about an inch and a half longer, but it does work properly.I did not test the card readers on the Juiced hub, as I have no real need for them.

Covers volume button on Surface Pro 2. Returning
Item covers volume buttons on Surface Pro 2. They could have avoided that problem by shifting the bulk of the item down by a centimeter or two, as the Bradychan and Bidul do. Given that this is advertised as a custom solution for SP2 and has beveling to match it, this is disappointing, frustrating and does not live up to the claim that it is custom-fit for the Surface Pro 2.I'll be returning this item.I previously tried the Bradychan (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00W9CYBPC/) but despite being advertised as USB 3.0, the Microsoft USBView.exe debugging tool enumerated that as USB2.0. Also, the Bradychan is fatter than the SP2. But at least it didn't cover the volume.Next I'll try the Bidul (http://www.amazon.com/Bidul-Reader-Microsoft-Surface-S-USBHub4in1-3-0/dp/B00HWMP108). Based on the listing photos, it appears to be shifted down by a few centimeters relative to this Juiced item, plus the Bidul looks to have the same bevel.(For all the reviews complaining that this unit does not work on SP3: It is advertised for SP2, not 3, and Juiced makes a separate unit for SP3.)

Must Have Adapter for Surface Pro
The two USB 3 ports, perfect, Surface Pro's always needed a second port. Most of my electronic equipment use SD and Micro SD which is perfect for me. Transferring data very smooth and quick. I like it so much I order another next day.I gave it a 4 star cause Juiced System cover up half volume button on Surface Pro 2, only the push the upper part of volume button, Juices System sits approximately 1/2" too high. On the Surface 3 it's perfect, no interference.I think this is a "must have" item for any one using Surface Pro.

Good, but you cannot charge surface 4 while using
Small and compact. Bought it for my Surface 4 and it sits pretty well in the port. had no issues with it so far in terms of its intended purpose. However, you cannot charge the Surface 4 and use the usb hub at the same time as the dongle get in the way of the magnet charger. So if you are planning to use this as a more permanent storage solution, keep in mind that when charging your device you will have to remove the hub and vice versa.

Does not fit well
Seemed like a great idea to add several additional USB ports and a sd reader to my surface pro when purchasing the following item. However it doesn't hold very well, it feels like any wrong movement may break it and damage my surface pro. I think getting a USB hub would have been a better choice.

but I liked the design
Wasn't sure if I needed this, but I liked the design. I use it all the time now! The reader has a slight curve on the back so it fits the surface pro 2 beautifully, well thought out! Only issue is the "down" volume isn't accessible but that's on the keyboard anyways.

Very good product.
Very good product...just keep in mind that if you have a case on your surface like I do...this item will not work. I have an awesome UAG case for my surface pro...this item is just not long enough to work with the case. Not their fault at all...good product.
