Best of the best - if worn properly!
Its no secret VogMasks are a highly rated fabric masks and us chemo patients have been wearing them for years, our local Mayo Clinic sold them Pre-CoVid and so grateful Amazon carries them often since they are hard to get your hands on right now. I love these new non-valved masks because they meet my state’s requirements for fabric masks, which cannot have an air valve because it releases your unfiltered exhale to those around you. These filter your inhale and exhale and I've actually found them easier to breath in than their valved version I have. It’s also no secret that you get what you pay for and worth the investment for a mask that’s effective for up to 3 years (expiration date is on each box). With all that being said, a protective mask is only as good as it’s seal. They do a great job offering a multitude of sizes but for someone like me that’s on the borderline of Med+ and Large (I’m 5’7” female, 155lbs), going with the Large size offered me the highest comfort and doesn’t cause those irritating mask lines on my cheekbones at the end of the day. Combined with the adjustable VogMask strap, I get a super comfortable fit while getting a perfect seal around the edges since I’m in-between sizes. It’s not rocket science and easy to use. My only suggestion is if adding the strap, get everything situated and adjusted on your face exactly the way you want it and then unsnap only one ear to remove the mask each time. This way you only have to snap one side to put it back on instead of having to redo the whole fitting process. It also cuts down on touching the outside of the mask when removing, as suggested by CDC.They don’t have to be washed after each use like others. They suggest using an alcohol pad to wipe the outside or let it sit in direct sunlight, outside up, for an hour and only needs hand washing if it’s gotten soiled or sweat build up. Easy! All I have is my personal experience and so far this combo has kept me safe through years of cancer treatments that knock out my immune system - even through a ramped pandemic going on in my city (Phoenix area). I wouldn’t dream of doing life‘s tasks like grocery shopping, going to the gas station, or dr apts without it.My husband is an “essential” warehouse worker and with him wearing his mask while at work, we’ve been able to be spared the worst of it so far. He wears an X-Lg size: he’s 6’, large frame, 210lbs, and the fit is perfect, no strap needed. It’s also worth reading the sizing measurements, filter’s tech specs, and efficiency lab tests on VogMask’s website. Efficiency is dependent on a proper fit. Again, it’s that important to take the time to order the correct size and I highly suggest getting their straps just in case. They are a good buy at $8 for a 4-pack.

Great mask, but the sizing for the new ventless masks is off
I've been wearing Vogmask for years because of my allergies and asthma, so when I saw that they removed the vent, I had to buy one. The sizing has changed from the old masks, and I went with a Large because it's what the size chart recommended since I'm over 5'7". I'd worn both the old medium and large and have been able to get a good seal on those, but this new large is a lot looser and way too big. I returned it for the Medium+, and that fits great. My recommendation is that if you're near the bottom of the height range listed for each size, go with the smaller one unless you've got an especially large head or carry a lot of fat in your face. You need to get a good seal for a mask like this to be any more effective than a basic cloth mask, and if you get one that's too big it won't be as effective.

Best seal and filter no fog on glasses
Safest mask available to public, I used to use them for pollen season because my allergy dr recommended these as having the best small particle filtration and being washable. For pollen they’re limited use as they eventually soak up some and pollen won’t completely wash out. But for the pandemic virus you can wash it and leave it in the sun for UV sterilization or wash it in grain alcohol and put it in the dryer. They shrink just a tad in the dryer but for a Medium plus that’s perfect for my small face (I’m 5’2” 120lbs very small jaw) to make a nice tight fit around the jaw and nose. These are the only masks that don’t let air escape upwards towards your eyes—so no fog on glasses!!

Favorite Masks
I really love Vogmask. I had purchased masks prior to the pandemic for use during "Fire Season," in California to help protect the lungs of myself and my child as we are both asthmatic. So when the pandemic broke out I decided to wait patiently for Vogmasks to once again be available for purchase. The quality of these masks can not be denied. I recommend handwashing to "freshen," your mask.I think the pattern is professional and works well with many of my outfits as an education admin working on-site with a hybrid schedule - that has students and teachers doing in-person classes.I feel secure with this mask on for an 8-hour workday combined with our social distancing and air purification safety protocols in place.

Finally a Mask Worth Wearing
I never considered myself to have a big head, let alone a big face. So I was somewhat hesitant to get the extra-large. This mask fits so well it feels as if it was custom-made just for me. I do have a beard and I know that is a No-No in creating a good seal. All my past masks had a tendency to creep upward (sliding on my beard?) until I felt as though I was peeking over them when they got to my eyes. This mask not only fits under my chin (which no other mask would do) it stays in place! As far as my beard preventing me from having a good seal... I'd say this mask goes a lot further than the rest in trying to block incoming airflow around my scruffy chinny chin chin. For those of you out there trying to justify the cost, I suggest you pull the trigger and hit the Enter Key. You will not have any qualms once it is in your hands.

Organic vs VMC
I own 2 of these masks now. One is the black organic other is the black VMC. While the organic one is softer on the inside, just know that with a proper seal the mask is less rigid making it suction to your face and makes it harder to breathe. For this reason I prefer the VMC version which is more rigid but still comfortable to wear. Yeah they're expensive but with a correct fit they make a great seal. Quality materials and built to last.

Comfortable, stays put, easy to breathe
I have these in four colors/patterns now, and this is my favorite brand for sure. Size large fits me perfectly. My husband got the same size, but his seems to pull on his ears a bit (he says he's not bothered so whatever). Next time I'll get him an XL, anyway, and see if he likes it.
