Exactly what it ought to be.
Exactly as expected. I use it to drive a couple little pyle home satellites and a 6.5" dayton classic woofer in a ~1 cu ft box with a 2 in x ~8 in port. Auto on/off is awesome. There's a red led that turns green when it's on so you know when it's off, which is nice if you are paranoid. The crossover works. There is a 'bass boost' that also works but doesn't sound so great in my setup because it's already favouring that range. The terminals are banana-compatible. sub/satellite volume controls allow you all the adjustment you need to configure the relative volumes. After that you NEED to use the volume control on whatever your source is.Overall I'm extremely happy with this thing for space savings and quality over one of those famous ~$50 2.1 amps. Definitely worth it.There is an incredibly light hum for a few minutes after your source goes silent. Also, based on the documentation, it will turn off 'somewhere around 10 mins after silence,' so you will hear a little white noise if you try for a few minutes after. Very light, though. Not at all annoying even in a very small bathroom, and only through the satellites.

120 Hz cutoff on the speakers.
For a 2.1 desktop setup this is a good amp.Not so much for quality stereo separation though because of the 120 Hz cutoff on the satellites. I bought this to run a Mirage sub and the C-Note kit that PE sells. $20 desktop speakers would do just as good.

2.1 Channel Class D Plate Amplifier
Good amplification as rated. The only issue is that this amplifier class does not filter out60 cycle hum .

Fantastic overkill for my custom 2
Fantastic overkill for my custom 2.1 computer speaker system. I've got this powering a parallel pair of 6" Nippon America 8-ohm Subwoofers in a ported box and a pair of no-name plastic satellites I was given 10 years ago. (Look up "white van speaker scam") This plate amp pushes everything well beyond what I need in a 2.1 system. I'll get well over 100db in the lows before my power meter registers 50w draw. Highs are as crisp as my crap speakers can reproduce.

Versatile kit amp
I bought this to replace the amp in my Cambridge Soundworks THX 2.1 set. It does a great job of driving the subwoofer, to which I've connected a variety of speakers, settling finally on a pair of old JBL L19s. I love the adjustable crossover and the efficient L19s generate a lot rich sound compared with those tiny satellites.

Great for custom applications where low-end is lacking.
I used this with for a custom tailgate speaker project. I started with the Lepai 2.1 (don't waste your money) and found this gem. It sounds incredible. My custom speaker now blows the block-rocker out of the water. Added a portable Bluetooth receiver and it is good to go.
