We love this thing! It's fun to have on and for my son to show his friends and play with when they are over!

Both of my boys wanted these so naturally i bought two. They are super cool and i love that they can touch them and see the lights and also use their voices. Would purchase again.

A must for your budding scientist. Evokes awe and wonder. Amazement. And just so fun to play with! Comes with interesting facts that your little one will soon be schooling everyone with! Ours is a little glitchy or finicky when switching on, but still works once started.

2 complaints. It doesn't look like the photo.The base is black and doesn't have those green designs. We have only used it a few times, and it is already shorting out. It doesn't come on immediately. You have to flip the on and off switch a few times to get it going. It's very cheaply made. It shouldn't be more than $5, to be honest. It's overpriced.

Love this plasma globe! Perfect gift for your little "mad scientist in training"! Can switch between continuous or sound-based operation. Sound works best with music, though it will react to clapping. Fun way for kids to safely explore and visualize static electricity. Good for "budding scientists". Cute nightstand novelty for kids to focus on while trying to settle down for bed... if they can resist the urge to touch it! I have found this for a bit less at a local store, but this price here on Amazon is reasonable.

Son really enjoyed his plasma globe. Seems pretty well made. He's had it on for a few weeks now and so far no issues. Also can turn on to sound like music. Great gift
