Best electric tea kettle I’ve ever used. Period. The kettle that it replaced was fine, it seemed, until it stopped working after a good 6 years of daily service. Looking for the next kettle, I wanted the option of variable temperatures and an interface that wasn’t on the handle of the kettle itself. Many to choose from. I liked the look and features on the Decan glass kettle.What I received is so much more. I have been drinking tea for decades. I had always heard that black tea needed a roiling rolling boil of water. And I thought I had always followed that instruction. So the old kettle would change its sound (a boiling sound with lots of steam) and I would pour it on the waiting tea. Enter the new kettle. It has a little set of beeps to tell me it has reached boiling, 212 degrees Fahrenheit. Silly as this may sound, I discovered the alchemy of truly boiling water meets tea. The flavor of my everyday Yunnan bloomed, and each of my teas has subtle notes that emerge. It reminds me why I go to special tea shops for a cup with friends. The shop usually has excellent quality tea, and it always seems especially lovely. Alchemy. Boiling water. This kettle has given me so much more than I expected. Additionally, it has a pleasing esthetic, good design, etc., and performs flawlessly. It is true for me that the temperature matters for all the teas I love. And I’ve got the kettle that makes it all possible.

Kettle makes a good pot of tea. The instructions left something to be desired. They were confusing because they covered too much info about customized settings. I just wanted a simple, no option, straight forward pot of tea. So I decided to call customer service. You can’t...there is no phone number, only an email address!! I had to go through four emails to get a simple yes or no answer. Other than that, the product itself does a decent job.

It is so convenient that the display shows the degree of water. When I make tea, I only need to follow the display instruction. The filter is very useful when I make flower tea or herbal tea. It heats very fast, only takes few minutes. It can keep my tea warm.

My husband is a tea drinker and has this kettle running multiples times a day. It has stained due to black tea making but that's normal, there are ways to remove the stains, but I still haven't done it. We've also recommended this to other friends who are avid tea drinkers and they have enjoyed it as well.

This is a very nice water kettle with a high tech feel and sound. The preset temps are perfect for the appropriate tea and it just looks sharp.The shortcut cards tell you exactly what amount of tea leaves to use with the labeled amounts of water. Very nice.This is a high quality product with a high quality feel; it was more than I expected. Great value/Great quality.

Update...the customer service is responsive and focused on the customer - thank you!!! I would recommend as it does work well!!We do like the kettle and warmer. However I broke the kettle and now am trying to buy a new glass kettle!??? Does anyone have any info on how to get a new kettle??

great job and nice looking bit the lid is only press on and falls off when tipped spilling boiling water all over the place. Design flaw as the handle gets in the way of the seal and so it doesn't seat fully and falls off if you try to pour at anything over a very slow pace.

This is a solid kettle. My ONLY complaint is that the warm function doesn't work at the hottest setting...like it should'nt. The instructions say nothing about it. Still it makes great tea and I like it.
