Good product, gets the job done
I only needed to install the male side to create a smaller size. It worked well and was easy to install. So far the snap seems secure/snug. The color variety is good and matched the material I was using it on. The tool kit is small but organized.

Practice First!!
Had to test a snap first because if u hit male snap too hard it deforms it and will not snap into female securely. Test run it on a scrap to get feel for how much to tap in. Plenty of snaps to use. Nice and secure once figured it out.

Kind of cheap, but gets the job done
The media could not be loaded. I’m not sure what you should expect from a kit that’s less than $20. Overall, it was okay, but it got the job done so I’ll just go into some detail below for those who are interested in user experience.First of all, my kit was missing one of the tools. This is why I deducted a star. Luckily, I had a different tool from another kit that miraculously fit. It was the tool on step 10 of the instructions. I used a tool from the click-it punch set, which is meant to punch holes so I had to be gentle when hammering it. I messed up one of the pieces by punching through it 😅Secondly, they do secure, but it took a few good and strong whacks before it stopped spinning around. This was my first time using something like this so it could have easily been user error. It could also be because the hammer is small, but I like that as it makes for easy storage. You can buy a full-sized mallet at harbor freight for $5 if that’s what you prefer.Thirdly, the snaps do feel a little cheap when you snap them on and off, but they don’t come off so they do get the job done.Lastly, the instructions were tricky at first, but that was also my fault. I was too excited to get the snaps snapping that I did not see the instructions and then when I did I was reading left to right across the pages not realizing there’s numbers on each picture. 🤦♀️ Regardless, I figured it out and it’s very easy to use now.I like the color variety and am excited to use these for more projects!

Great for a quick fix, not a permanent solution
I purchased this after my toddlers pants snap fell off and instead of buying new pants I wanted to fix them. After reading the instructions which made it easy to follow the pants were fixed and all was well. Later, I needed to make a rush ugly Christmas sweater for a toddler so I thought, lets put snaps on a sweatshirt and attach ornaments and call it a dad job done.Utilizing the tools to set the snaps, it crushes the interior and makes it difficult for the snaps to seat well into the socket for a strong grip. On the sweatshirt alone there were a dozen snaps that I had to rip out and redo because the interior set tool ruined the seating surface. luckily I had a larger awl that I could use to truly set the snaps. This is not a bad tool to have in the closet, but not a set that will last forever.

Nice snaps
Nice product. I had issues with these initially but didn’t realize they’re not intended for thick leather. Work fine on thin.

Not fancy, but it works.
This is a set of snaps for replacement or for doing leather work. It is not the super-highest quality. It is not a grand piano and you should not expect a grand piano. It is a workable set of snaps with a pretty good variety. It does take a bit of fiddling to get right. I was able to use it for its desired purpose of repairing a piece of leather jewelry. It was a "snap" to learn how to use. Now I have replacement snaps for the rest of my life. (Wish they made a smaller kit.)
