Question 1

Is it 23 1/2" along the wall on each side and 34" along the diagonal?

Accepted Answer

As you know, the top (and each of the other two shelves) is a 5-sided shape. Mark your drawing as follows. Starting with the back corner (90 degrees) is A. The next corner on the right side (90 degrees) is B. The next corner near the front (not 90 degrees) is C. The next corner near the front on the left side (not 90 degrees) is D. The next corner (90 degrees) on the left side is E. (The next corner would be A.) Everything is in inches. The side A-B is 23 1/8. The side B-C is 9. The side C-D is 20 1/8. The side D-E is 9. The side E-A is 23 1/8. The diagonal B-E is 32 1/2. The distance between A and the front edge, C-D is 22. There dimensions will be slightly different because the supports are on the outside of the top (and the shelves). I hope this helps.

Question 2

how big of a tv will this stand hold?

Accepted Answer

Hi: I placed a 32"TV on this stand. It sets perfectly in the corner I purchased it for. However, I do not recommend (if you are thinking about purchasing this stand just for the corner) putting a TV longer than 32" (which is also the size of the diagonal screen). It would be a very tight fit (corner of one wall to the other). Nevertheless, my 32"fits perfectly. Gerry

Question 3

Has anyone had any luck trying replacement casters on this stand, or did you just stick with the casters provided w/item? Orig ones are crappy!

Accepted Answer

I bought this for my teen-aged grandson for Christmas ... he needed something to hold his TV and all the gaming stuff that goes with it. He got it for Christmas 2013, so he has had it for over a year. I have not heard of any issues with the casters.

Question 4

will it hold a 47 inch flat screen tv?

Accepted Answer

i don't see why not. i put a 42" flat screen on it. the base fits fine. i think your only concern would be the size of the base of the 47" tv. measure it. weight is not an issue.
