Pretty amazing. Works as well or better than more well known national brands costing much more. I was surprised at the high RPM of the motor and the sharpness of the blades. It cuts quickly and accurately. It's easy to adjust the trim length. The convenient stand holds the razor in place while charging. The rechargeable battery is a 1.2 volt 600mAh AA Ni-Cad cell, which is easily removed and can be replaced. (You can also use a standard alkaline AA battery in a pinch, if you're somewhere where AC power is not available, just don't try to recharge an alkaline battery.) I had a different well-known brand trimmer before that didn't perform nearly as well. I had to discard it as the non-removable rechargeable battery eventually failed. Not familiar with the brand/manufacturer of the trimmer, but decided to go with it over mostly positive reviews and ratings. The trimmer did a very good job going low to skin as I used it not only for beard but also to trim up line up and fade style hair cut. The one blending clip it comes with did a good job to go from low to high length style cut. Unfortunately though motor died out in instantly after normal use just a few weeks after the 30 day return policy time frame... So due to this I would not recommend..

I have had a beard for more than forty years and have been through a number of beard trimmers. I will state unequivocally that this is the worst trimmer I have ever owned. It does not cut well; I have to make quite a few passes over a section of beard to get it cut closely. In addition it frequently grabs and pulls whiskers. I regret that I did not return it after the first use. I naively thought maybe it would get better. It did not, and now I am stuck with it. I strongly suggest avoiding this item. There are many trimmers on the market that are far superior to this one.

wow. lots to say about this beard trimmer even though i haven't used it yet.First, props to them for somehow getting 19 customer reviews averaging 4.5 stars. based on what i've seen so far i would have guessed about 1.5 stars max. Why do i give it 3 stars? not sure.packaging - you know when you open a new iphone or ipad? it seems like they spend $30 on the packaging to make you feel good about your purchase. this is the complete opposite of that. but so much so that it actually becomes interesting. I've bought a lot of junk, but this honestly is a whole new level. I looked for the made in china/taiwan label, but nothing. i'm guessing it is from a whole new manufacturing hub that makes the previous low cost exporters look like swiss craftsmen.build quality - maybe 2 stars. seems very cheap, but i'm guessing it will last at least two months (6 uses for me).entertainment value - 5 stars. my friends and i got at least 24.99$ of entertainment value discussing this magnificent product and the different ways it could possibly get such a high amazon rating. kind of like the chinese restaurant with the rats and no customers that has 4.2 yelp stars.education value - again, 5 stars. i've made some mistakes before purchasing things based on an amazon rating an my own laziness. this has set me straight.environmental impact - negative 2 stars. i'm pretty sure mine will be going to a landfill before it even needs its first oiling. no big deal. however, i'm pretty sure there are thousands others that will be doing the same, which is silly (and sad).

I enjoy this trimmer. It does trim well without pulling the hair and hopefully it will continue to do that as I use it more and more. It's lightweight but almost to a fault. It doesn't feel like it's well built and feels kind of cheap so we will see how long it lasts but it has done well thus far. I do like that the attachment is adjustable. I would prefer that much more than 6 different attachments lying around. Overall for the price, you can't go wrong with this trimmer!

I've looked around for a nice trimmer for my son. He wears a very unique beard design and he uses large hair clippers and Knicks himself all the time. These trimmers are smaller and much easier to handle. For me, the price was right. We are really happy with our purchase.

Dissatisfying and not recommended.The trimmer is heavy and not easy to manipulate compared to others that I have used.The charger makes it difficult to travel with and th base is made out of cheap plastic that seems very flimsy and I'm sure it will break quickly.I don't think I'll keep it very long.

What a piece of junk. After the first shave it started pulling hairs not actually cutting them. I cleaned it, I oiled it and that only helped for a few passes before it would go back to pulling. Don't waste your money - buy that Wahl 9818 that everyone recommends.
