Works well I'm the right application. Springs come in different lengths, thicknesses, and tensions. I used these to aid in the retraction of a lift chair and it has functioned well for months. Fit: Right ends and length. Less thickness. It works

I have a 94 ram 2500hd, Cummins. I tried so many springs to replace the throttle return spring, including the official oem springs. None worked. This 9618 spring was the perfect length and force.

I used these on my recliner chair when one spring broke. Looked for one that had the same (close) dimensions as the broken spring, along with the end hook design. Great selection from Handyman, and this fit perfectly. It turned out quite easy to do the fix and saved me a lot of money and time trying to find a furniture repair guy.

Bought these to replace a spring on an old hay baler. The OEM spring was about $25. Used one of these. So far it is working fine and I have an extra if needed.

Worked for what I needed

To be fair, it's really hard to shop for springs online and get a good feel for it. I wanted this to build a musical instrument involving a guitar microphone tab and this, to play as a percussion of sorts. Turns out buying the right microphone is also complicated, so the project is still not done. The thing felt a bit bigger and certainly sturdier than I had planned when it came in. I'm almost certain I could make it work, but a more flexible might produce a better sound. Meanwhile, if you need a potent spring for a heavy duty job, this is certainly a better fix for you than it was for me.
