Will be buying again
I’ve been using this a little over a week now as a replacement for the Dermalogica Microscrub. I was expecting it to be more of a powder not little bead balls. BUT I’m still very impressed by this. I have sensitive skin dark skin and haven’t had an issue since using it. It is very general cleaning and my face feels clean (without feeling dry), my skin is baby soft even after I pat my face dry. The smell of this is fresh and kind of therapeutic in my opinion. The beads dissolves well and turns into a nice soft lather without too much soap. It does what it’s suppose to do, clean your skin while keeping your skins pH balanced. For the price point you get a lot of product and that’s saying a lot because compared to the Dermalogica microscrub you over pay for barely any product.

Left skin feeling amazing!
I just got this product today and used it as part of my double cleanse as the second step. I used about a nickel sized amount got it a little wet and massaged it on my face. The exfoliating enzymes slowly melt into a very nice face wash. It didn’t foam, it was very gentle and my skin felt so nice after using it. I’m very excited about this product and can’t wait to see how it does after consistent use.

my love for this cannot be contained.
my holy grail facial cleanser, hands down. probably the only skincare product i've bought multiples of in the last decade.pros:- like being exfoliated by slightly rough angel wings- leaves my oily skin clean without any tightness- gentle enough to use on my closed eyes- always removes any traces of my first cleanser, and any makeup my first cleanser missed- low ph!- a little bit goes a long way; one bottle lasts me most of the year.cons:- does have SLS. i don't mind, but plenty of people are sensitive.- the cap occasionally has difficulty snapping closed, especially when your glasses are off and you're blindly fumbling with the bottle when your eyes are full of soap.would buy again. would buy forever.

Skip if you’ve tried others
I enjoy these face wash powders and have tried a few (Tatcha, SRB, DHC, and JM Solution). This by far is the coarsest one of them all. The first photo is of the grains followed by what it looks like after adding water. As you can see I added enough water to dissolve most of the grains, but not all. I kind of like this because what didn’t dissolve in my hands serve as a bit of exfoliation as I rub my face and the rest dissolve. For comparison is the pic with the two different powders. The second, finer powder is the DHC powder wash. Also pictured are the two powders with about 4 drops of water. The order (from finest to coarse) of all of the powders I’ve tried is: DHC, JM Sol., Tatcha, SRB and this). Compared to other powders that smell kind of like rice flower, the smell of this one is relatively strong and is like old-school Tide detergent -but doesn’t linger too long either. Overall, not a re-purchase for me.

a nice, gentle wash perfect for travel
I originally purchased this for travel, because who wants to be adding to their liquid content for carryons, but I ended up loving it for every day use. I love washes that foam, but I know how drying it can be for skin, but this has the perfect pH level so it will not interrupt your skin barrier with harsh sulfates. The scent is very mild and relaxing. I'm not sure why people say it's like laundry detergent, but I would like to know what kind of laundry smells like this because it's amazing. It's slightly floral, but not overwhelmingly so. It's just a fresh, clean scent that Korean beauty products typically have - not overly floral like AmorePacific, for example. I use lukewarm water and I pour a quarter amount of the crystals out, and I add water -the first emulsion process is slightly exfoliating but not harsh. Then it turns into very tiny delicate bubbles that spread over my face. My face feels clean, a little on the tight side, but I typically like that in the morning because I follow up with a ton of moisturizer and sunscreen. So be aware that it could be drying for some, but overall it's one of my favorite cleansers. I prefer it over many of my high end cleansers (Drunk Elephant, Sunday Riley). I hope it's never discontinued!

My best-kept secret!
I don't remember how I found this product but it's my only grail. I don't wash my face without it. My skin is always so clean and soft after using it! Never feels stripped. The only problem I have with it is that the bending part of the cap is prone to snapping, creating a huge mess as all the little beads fall out. Just be careful.

Foaming Powder to Clean & Exfoliate
Love this type of face cleanser. A powder that I add a very small amount of water and it slightly foams. My face feels & looks amazingly clean. Highly recommend:)

HG Face Wash
This is my favorite face wash by far. It's incredibly convenient for traveling since it isn't liquid based, and it has a low enough pH that it is kind to my skin. After washing my face, my skin feels clean but not tight, and my break outs went down significantly after using it consistently for a few months. I'm so glad I found this face wash. It's inexpensive and also very easy to use. I will continue to repurchase for sure!
