Easy to install
Had to change my old noisy ceiling extractor fan. This one is much quieter, but not silent. It was very easy to install as it fitted into the original hole in the ceiling. I put it on the higher speed, using the little jumper connector, as this model does not have a timer, it is only running when the light is on. It was a bit more expensive than some other similar models, but I stuck to a brand that I know.

Silence is golden! or is it? 🧐
High quality extractor fan, was easy for me to fit as i was replacing an old cheap and nasty one, so the recess was already there, as was the wiring!Looks good and the two different facias are a nice touch, plus it means the Fan is not visible, again a nice touch! Just a heads up, it is as stated virtually silent on the lower speed, but i was installing it in an ensuite with no window so needed to put it on the high speed setting! It doesn't sound like a jet Turbine on the higher setting but you can hear it quite clearly! On the other hand it is going twice as fast and removing all the steam from the shower, so no complaints. If i needed a second one would buy this one again! 🤗

Installation
Bought to replace an inherited identical device. Fairly easy to install as a replacement but I would have needed professional help otherwise.

Lovely and quiet fan
This is the second one of these we've purchased, they are a vast improvement on the builder installed units. They have two speeds, but we've left ours on slow and haven't had any issues. The only issue I had was getting the cover to clip on to the unit as our ceiling wasn't completely flat (as most of them aren't). It would be easier if these were held in position by screws. Having two outer covers is a good idea, though we've used the round ones as the square cover would look odd (IMHO) if the fan wasn't aligned with other ceiling furniture.

Silence is golden
Bought to replace a fan that sounded like a Harrier Jump Jet taking off, easy to fit and the choice of square or round covers is a bonus.I can now shower without ear defenders, sweeeet....

Beware - a Curates Egg of extractors
Once installed, it works well and quietly. Obviously designed by a designer rather than people who have to install a rather flimsy appliance. Very vague instructions. What does "open with a tool" mean? Tiny connectors, printed circuit board that falls out, very silly click fittings.Cat working on mk.II version.

Puts my old fan to shame
Easy to install, a little more proud of the ceiling than it's predecessor but better for air flow. Good that it has the two flaps to stop wind entering the vent. And it's very quiet; not silent but enough that you know it's on without thinking you're in a wind tunnel. Worth the expense

Latch too stiff.
The latch holding the cover on. It’s too stiff and when inserting a screwdriver to open it the cover split, making it difficult to remove. Prefer other brands which use a screw to hold the cover on.Also when mounting this to the ceiling I noticed that even on the high setting the fan is not powerful enough to lift open the anti-backdraft flaps, the air just moved through the gaps - defeats the point really. It’s a shame because the fan is very quiet and looks great.
