E-Z-TY Reusable Rope Clamp

These rope clamps work perfectly for me ..they made or easy to set up the rigging for my davits and dinghy and made it easy to make all 4 line the same length!!! it also gave it a clean and professional look. the dinghy weights around 150 lb with trolling motor and Battery. To test the clamps I hook them from my davit on my 38 foot boat to the dock and crank them up till the hand crank winches would go no more. I also watch the back of the boat squat little bit in the water ... that was enough for me to trust them with many applications on the boat ... yes it a little work to get them on but worth the results and the money!

These rope clamps were easy and secure way to hold the ropes on my twin size swinging bed . We tried tying them but it was so hard to get them even and neat. These were easy to use and came is several colors. My swing is white and we used white and it looks amazing. And if the ropes stretch we can easily reposition them.

This is a well made clamp. I would caution that though it says for 1/2 inch rope, some 1/2 inch rope may be slightly thicker that 1/2 inch. That could make it hard to use the clamp on that rope without some effort in fitting the rope. I have seen other 1/2 rope that would work easier.The clamp is very sturdy, well made, and strong.

This review is for the E-Z-TY Reusable Rope Clamps. These clamps work as intended and were easy to install on the ropes. Make sure you buy the tight size for your rope diameter. All you need to complete installation and use is a Phillips head screwdriver. I do not need any more of these clamps, but if I did I would not hesitate to buy again.

no matter what knot you use with thick rope, it always gets undone, etc. This is so neat and tidy and stronger than any knot. Every time I use rope knots they fail. This has never failed regardless of load. Can be difficult to install because so tight, for larger sizes above 3/8" I learned to order the next bigger clamp size than the rope size as it was impossible to fit the rope entirely in the clamp. Professional results. Amazed why you can't find this in any marine or other stores.

Great device to provide a strong rope end connection. I incorporated a metal thimble into the loop for additional chaff resistance. Good design. An optional galvanized or stainless steel thimble would be a good thing for the supplier to offer.

All it takes is losing a brand new 100# river anchor to a factory tied rope coming untied in the water to really appreciate this little piece of plastic. That is exactly what happened to us, and the reason we looked for a solution. At first we had doubts on if this plastic clamp would do the job, so we tried it in fairly shallow water a few times to make sure, and it did! Since then it has held the rope beautifully and we no longer worry about losing the anchor. It was a little hard to screw the two piece part together, but accomplishable. We use this clamp with a buoy anchor system, would definitely purchase again, and will continue to recommend it to all our boater friends.
