Tasty treat.
Bought as a present for someone who only eats 100% chocolate with no additives or sugar. Very tasty gift but very expensive.

Nasty and unpleasant
Well, this Christmas present for my wife left a bad tasteā¦ little did I realise that āAbsolute Black 100% Cocoa Dark Chocolateā means āinedibleā. The coating and the filling consist of horrible, bitter cocoa mass and cannot be regarded as a āsweetā by any standard. This product needs to come with a health warning. My wife kindly said ādonāt worry, Iāll use it for cookingā but that is hardly the point.

Packaging problem
Unfortunately the bottom row of the snowmen rubbed on the clear plastic during transit to me as they were in a box with other items. So the 4 snowmen on show look like old dull chocolate rather than lovely shiny chocolate.such a shame as they are cute.As these were part of a Christmas hamper gift for someone I canāt comment on taste and I didnāt have time to send back as they were a last minute addition before.

I love dark chocolate but these were far too bitter and not edible.

Absutely putrid
I love dark chocolate but this is not the one for me. Might as well eat some dirt as the taste is very bitter with no hint of sweetness. Can possibly be good for cooking if you don't mind adding a shovel of sugar.

These looked "old".
There was the "bloom" of old chocolae on these snowmen. There was no differentiation in the consistency to account for the description of "truffle", so would have been just as well buying a bar of the 100% cocoa version of Montezuma's Chocolate at a much less inflated price!
