The best night’s sleep I have had in years!
Years of Jiu Jitsu related injuries left my shoulders and neck a mess. Three years ago one of the best neck surgeons in South Florida rebuilt my neck. The result was miraculous! Both shoulders had extensive injuries to the shoulder cuffs along with multiple tears. Dr. Simovitch did an amazing job and repaired the tears and fixed both rotator cuffs. The problem is I sleep on my side. Both shoulders require at least one more surgery each. Being a “side sleeper”, I would sleep on one side for awhile before turning over to alleviate the pain. When the pain on that shoulder grew severe, I would turn over again. The process repeated itself several times each night. My wife noticed an ad for this pillow solution. The price seemed a bit high but we decided to try it out. The first night took just a bit of getting used to. Since then, I have been sleeping deeper than I have ever slept in years! I now sleep much deeper than I can ever remember sleeping. The quality of sleep is unbelievable better. I wake up truly rested and I have more energy than I have had in a very long time. I also no longer need pain medication before going to sleep and when I wake up! The difference in just a week is miraculous! I am in a better mood when I wake up and my work productivity has more than doubled. I did not realize just how much pain I was living with until that pain was gone! I am now looking forward to my remaining surgeries because this pillow system will make recovery much easier. If you are suffering from chronic shoulder pain or have upcoming shoulder surgery, show this system to your surgeon and ask their opinion. This truly is a game changer! The pillow system is also great for recovery and an intense upper body workout because it takes pressure off the joints and allows more efficient recovery. Words cannot express how grateful I am that my wife found this and we tried it out. I will never sleep on regular pillow again.

Not Enough Support, Woke Up in More Pain
I really wanted to like this pillow system, but it ended up making my pain significantly worse instead of better. After using the MedCline Shoulder Relief System, I noticed increased shoulder pain almost immediately. The arm hole design didn’t provide enough actual support, so my shoulder felt like it was dropping and staying under tension all night. Instead of relieving pressure, it seemed to make it worse. On top of that, I started having pain in my right hip and lower back. The incline shifts your body in a way that feels unnatural, and without enough support through the torso and legs, it caused my hips to rotate and my lower back to strain. I would wake up more sore than when I went to bed. The overall system also felt too soft and didn’t provide the structure needed to maintain proper alignment. For something marketed as a therapeutic solution, it just didn’t deliver. Unfortunately, this was a disappointing experience and not something I can recommend.

Buy it!
I dont have any of the things it's used for like GERD or acid reflux but I am a side sleeper and already i have noticed a huge improvement in my sleep. I feel rested after I wake up now and no longer in pain. Also the pillow stays cool and firm. Never had anything like it until now. Very durable and stable system. Highly recommend you try it. Just be sure to read the instructions so you know how to use it first. Seen a lot of reviews complaining about sliding down the pillow or smushing your face. Note--if you're not used to sleeping in a correct position, yeah it might feel weird at first but that feeling doesn't last long at all. You have to find what works for you. Is it an expensive system? Yes. Is it worth the value? Absolutely!

Not great for small/petite
I have hEDS and bought this to help with shoulder and neck pain while sleeping. I am a very small person(just under 5’ 3”) and the system is big for me. The wedge is too tall so my shoulder “hangs” too much, exacerbating the problem, and the body pillow is too thick and doesn’t allow for my spine to align correctly. I didn’t like that my arm felt trapped under the support foam at the top of the wedge, which also complicated turning over multiple times at night. I wish the body pillow was the same length on both sides so it could support my hips on both sides and not just one. Trying to use the longer side from behind is just weird. I knew I wasn’t going to return it and have since modified the system for my size- decreasing the height of the wedge, removing the support arch at the top and just using stacked pillows, and removing some of the fill in the body pillow. I still plan on trying to even out the lengths on the body pillow using the extra fill.

Keeps you from tossing and turning all night
Absolutely love this pillow system. Keeps me locked in place and prevents me from tossing and turning all night. I no longer feel discomfort in my shoulders from them slumping at odd angles when I sleep on my side. Only reason why Im giving 4 starts is because the tube part of the pillow was just too annoying to use for my neck so I flipped it around and just use it for my knees.

Cumbersome and so large
I read the reviews of this pillow system before I purchased it and thought it was gonna be the miracle cure for my shoulder pain as I sleep on my right side every night due to vertigo being on my left side. I tried it at least a week, but it was so cumbersome and big. It was hard to move it from off the bed to a chair, etc. I did read reviews that said you slid down a lot of times which I think happened to me. I just could not get a arm underneath in the right spot. I guess to eliminate still being some pressure on my arm when I slept. It was just so big and cumbersome. I decided I couldn’t deal with it. Some people mentioned in their reviews that it was the answer to their problem, but it was not in my case. The problem is when you wanna make up your bed. What do you do with that big huge system of three pieces? As in where do you put it when you make up your bed with your other pillows /that was the question😳☺️

It's a sleep trap. I don't want to get out of bed
It's a trap. This thing is a total sleep trap. If I do not set an alarm I fall asleep almost instantly. Normally I toss and turn and wake up every 2 hours. With this pillow I wake up once to use the bathroom. Normally after 8 hours I am ready to get out of bed, not rested just sore from trying to sleep. With this pillow I don't want to get out of bed. I am cozy and not sore. When I set an alarm I wake fully rested and ready for the day. But bed is still comfortable and I don't want to get up.

Finally able to sleep in my bed again!
So we have tried so many different mattresses, and pillows, and mattress toppers, but none of them have really worked for me. When I sleep in my bed I wake up with terrible back pain, or neck pain, or I just don't sleep... I am a side sleeper, so I have tried many different pillows which are supposed to help with this, but they didn't work for me. The pillow cube switched my back pain to neck pain, and others just add to the back and shoulder pain. Many are just not comfortable at all. This one is different. I have slept so much better since purchasing this, even from the first night! I was expecting to have to adjust to this and give it some time, but no, the change was instant! Now let me be clear, this system is a bit much and has some drawbacks. 1.) It is expensive; 2.) It takes up a bunch of space; 3.) It is multiple pieces and looks overwhelming and complicated. Those are all negatives in my book. However, the benefits outweigh the negatives in this case. 1.) It does take up a bunch of space, there is no getting around it. For me it is worse because we only have a queen bed. But there is still room for it. If you have a King sized bed, you will have no problem at all. 2.) Multiple parts and complicated. Totally true, but once you have it on the bed, it goes together and makes sense. It is still a little cumbersome, and it sometimes my arm will get stuck if I don't remember and try to get up too fast, but this one is still worth it because the sleep improvement. And it is comfortable. 3. ) Cost. It does cost a lot! Especially if you have already spent hundreds more (or thousands depending on what else you have tried...) But can you really put a price on waking up without pain? Is there a price too high for a good night sleep? Overall, I think the cost is worth it. If you are a side sleeper, and are having back, shoulder, neck or other pain, give this a try!
