Yes, some of these words appear to be good for the TOPIK test, but I am not a fan of this product. First, a number of the words are repeated. Second, there is no context, and some of the words are weirdly simple (like the word for "ball.") I know some of these words, and the definitions would be insufficient if I did not know how the word is used. For example, a word for "leave" means to "leave on one's plate (or something) and not use it up." If I did not know that, I would imagine it meant to "leave a place." I have gone through this book and marked the words I already know, but I'm not sure how useful it will be to memorize the rest without any reliable context. Plus, it's designed as small cards to cut out, but the pages are double-sided. I suppose one could fold each side in half to hide the English translation. Hm. Overall, I think a reading book with a list of vocabulary below each reading would be more useful.
