This book has very useful information and is not to broad and it is not to specific either. It's the perfect amount of information. I had a horrible teacher so I am basically teaching myself with only this book. I will comment later my score later because I take the exam in May. Review: DEFINITELY WORTH!!! - I was a freshman taking AP Environmental and i have to say, buying this book to study for the exam was the best thing I did! I received it 5 days before the exam( my fault for not ordering it sooner) so I tried to pack as much information as I could to prepare myself. I received a 4 on the exam and I wasn't even able to finish the exam. I stopped around 70 for multiple choice but I knew all the material for the free response( thanks to this book) . The book did me so well that even with 30 unanswered questions, I still passed with a 4. My advice: study this about 2 weeks beforehand and take the practice tests on College Board so you know how to time everything out. Honestly, Im pretty sure would've gotten a 5 if I was able to finish the test.

An Easy Month's Cram
I purchased this review book, and it worked wonders! Pros: Many of the information that I learned during the year from the textbook didn't stick, and it was irrelevant to the AP Exam. I strongly suggest purchasing this book and using it a month before the AP Exam instead of the textbook. This book simplifies a lot of the information down and makes it easier to understand. Unlike the textbook, this book didn't include all the fancy jargon. Cons: Although this book doesn't have all the fancy terminology that textbooks normally have, it didn't go over ALL the material that was tested on the AP exam. There was a topic on the AP Exam that wasn't even mentioned in this review book, which is why I'm giving it a 4 instead of a 5. However, I would recommend this book to any student taking APES! Thank you for the 4, Princeton! :)

Great Preparation for the exam
Fantastic book! Great preparation for my son. He was satisfied and felt that this book covered everything on the test. The Princeton Review did a great job as always. I will definitely look for their test review books for my son's future exams. He feels confident of earning a 5 despite only reading from this book!

got me a 5!
My teacher had us take a few practice AP tests in class and I bombed them, so I obsessed over this book the weekend before the AP. I read the entire review section cover to cover, did the review quizes at the end of each chapter, took notes on the key terms, etc. The only thing I didn't do was the practice tests. One of my friends had Barron's AP Environmental Science and it was outrageously long and in-depth so there was no way she could review everything during crunch time, but the Princeton Review was much more basic and manageable. It definitely didn't cover everything that was on the exam, and it covered many things that weren't on the exam, but it was good enough - I got a 5. So I'd definitely recommend it.

Very useful for review, but some content errors
Negative: Several errors in the practice test and review sections. For example, the definition of NPP is wrong in this book. The book should have been checked by an environmental science professor before publication. Positive: 2 complete practice tests plus several chapters on content with practice multiple choice and free-response questions.

Useful, concise and great practice tests
Very useful for the APES exam, has practice tests that are almost identical to the real thing, has lots of easy to read and informative information if you need to review, and doesn't go too far in depth which is nice.

This book was actually great! I felt like many of the questions that were on the Ap test were very similar to the ones found in this book. Was able to get a 4 after reading the entire book around 2 times. Really surprised because my teacher had a very low passing rate.
