Best bookstand
Awesome design! Separates into two parts for easy storage. Adjustable for any thickness of book. Holds larger and smaller books. Metal and wood design mixes well with decor. Useful for cooking as well as holding up textbooks. Have not stopped using it since I got it.

Directions need improvement
Works well, would recommend BUT the oversimplified drawing for assembly included with product is useless and warranted going back onto Amazon to see a picture of it assembled. But overall, product is good.

big hole book just falls through it
standing portion of the 'frame' that the book rests on is a hole, nothing to support the back of the book , mine just fell thru the hole, might work ok if the book was flat fold but mine had a spine and was smaller than the opening.

Overall worth it
So it took me a minute, well 2 to figure the depth of thickness you can go so it won’t topple over. IT PASSED! It seemed a little flimsy at first because it’s very easy to make it slightly crooked. I took that extra minute to line it up and now I really like it. I also love that if you don’t want to use it you can separate and it easily fits in a drawer.

How do I get the light to stop blinking
Oddly could never figure out how to assemble this and get any use out of it.Like my parents with the VCR I guess I’m too old to figure it out. ;)Honestly not a bad product but wasn’t happy with the design and parts are meant to be assembled. Tossed it.

Very sturdy but this item is best with an I-Pad. It doesn't hold a cookbook open very well.

Cute stand that does the trick
It’s a cute stand that holds good sized cook books. I like that it can fold up and be easily put away in a drawer. Matches the rest of my kitchen nicely.

Works great!
Works just as described. I’m not geometrically inclined, so I didn’t get it right based on the instructions either. I’m sure my husband would have figured it out in mere seconds. However I just went back to the original listing and looked at the picture. Voila! Put together just like that and works perfectly.
