Love it!
I’m getting back into guitar after 13 years. I wanted something I could grow into. The color is just sexy. It plays like a dream and sounds wonderful.

Awesome guitar and seller
Adorama quoted 3-day delivery, and for this great looking axe I was fine with that. Then, they actually shipped it via UPS overnight and exceeded my expectations! It was double boxed on to of the Fender hard case for safe shipping. The Fender American Professional II HSS is joy to play, with exceptional tones from the push/push bridge pickup which allows both humbucker and single coil tones for tonal diversity. The satin neck and rosewood fingerboard are comfortable and easy to play. I’ve received many compliments for the dark sky finish- it looks even better in person than pictures. I’d strongly recommend this axe for comfort and tonal diversity. It sounds amazing for what I normally play- 90’ Alternative, blues, and classic rock.

Awesome bridge pickup
There are many nice things to say about this guitar. The color is beautiful, the neck is a joy to play, and overall it's just a finely crafted instrument. What I really want to highlight is the bridge Double Tap V Mod II pickup. It gives the guitar plenty of versatility. If you want the full humbucker sound, you have it. If you want the traditional, stratty single-coil sound, it's there at the push of a button. (Position 2 on the pickup selector gives you that vintage quack Stratocaster sound). Finally here's a guitar that offers the best of both worlds, and it does it very well.(Disclaimer: I purchased this guitar from my local music store, not from Amazon).

Not so hot for the money
Beautiful blue black finish on the body and Fender's newest pickups that were a little too bright for me. Splitting the Humbucker thickens the sound some but I probably should have purchased the SSS. The neck is great and does play easy and the cutaway on the back of the neck works well too but I have that on three of my other strats and for me it's not a whole lot better than the standard Fender neck joints. Anyway it's a good instrument but I can only give it 3 stars. I am going to keep it.

HSS Strat Pro II stays in tune no matter what.
Thought it was time to get a good Strat and wanted HSS. Only place at the time I could find the one I wanted. Perfect guitar, plays great and stays in tune even after divebombing the tremolo.
