So as the hobbyist/inventor/tinker in the family, I absolutely love this assortment. All the different little pieces are considerably well made and have a wide variety of uses. I homeschool my kids, and the experiments that we conduct are easily understandable. We have gotten loads of laughs out of the learning we've done with this kit. This is a huge bang for the buck item and all of it seems to be of nice quality. Crisp molded parts, very clean and quiet little motors and comes with near anything you'll need for several projects.

This is an OK set of hobby parts that seem worthwhile if you have some idea of what you're doing. Most of the text is poorly translated and related pictures look like they were taken in dimly lit rooms with old flip phones, neither really provides any value at all. At least it says for age 14+, which is probably right, if they have prior knowledge or internet to help figure out what any of these parts would be used for.

I bought this set to replace a dead motor in my JDM Ganador mirror. While it isn't an exact OEM match, it got the mirror moving again! The motors are surprisingly powerful for their size and handle the 3V–12V range well. It’s not "perfect" because the RPM is quite high, so the mirror movement is a bit faster than the original, but it’s a million times better than a static mirror. Having a 6-pack is great because it gives me spares for future repairs or hobby projects. If you're a "maker" looking for a versatile small motor, this is a solid kit
