I was in the helmet industry for years, traveling to Korea/China/Vietnam etc. for helmet manufacturing. This helmet like most every other helmet in the industry under $500 bucks is junk but works as well as the next. It has crowded upper cheek areas is the only complaint so the goggles as a result as shoved up a bit and sit too high. My kid puts up with it. As for safety, again it's laughable how bad helmet safety is today with all the technology. Here's the bottom line, so long as nobody complains and consumers agree to Styrofoam as the best technology on earth, we'll never get anything better. Lawyers keep things unchanged and the other gimmick stuff like MIPS and such is ...a barely measurable improvement. SNELL ratings are mostly a joke, sometimes doing more harm than good and DOT is even worse. ECE is probably the best testing standard and it's nothing to write home about. I've ran this testing equipment myself and was shocked at how poor it is as a standard.

My 4 yo son picked this helmet for himself. It looks it fits well but it is very tight to put on and off, and every time it hurts his ears. I followed the sizing chart and bought a medium which is the size of his other helmets (51-52cm), but I should have gone for a large.Also, the screws for the visor fell off on the first day while riding a dirt bike. So I had to use temporary screws to hold the visor. And now I have to look for new screws for it as we couldn't find them in the desert.Helmet itself is very firm and nice looking. It looks more brown than I expected but my son loves the paint patterns and the colors. Gloves are okay. He chose to use his old ones.Overall it's good for the price. Just sad about the size and the screws.

My five year old loved the look of this helmet! It was supposed to come with some accessories - e.g. gloves - and the company responded immediately to provide the missing items. Then after trying it on a few times we felt that the helmet didn't seem to be the right fit, which is not unusual with his head shape. Again I contacted the company and they gave me detailed coaching on how the helmet should fit - giving "chipmunk cheeks" but not too tight - so I could make a good decision. In the end we sadly decided to return and go to a local helmet shop. Ultimately had to try 8 helmets before finding one to fit. Then I had one more issue (on my end) returning the product and again they were amazing to work with to help me through the process. I wish all companies operated like this one - feels like you have a family friend helping along. AND the helmet looked sooo good! Our neighbor bought the exact same one.

This is a good helmet/gloves/goggles combo for a new rider. The helmet is DOT approved, fit well (decent padding) and was relatively lightweight. I could have spent four - five times as much to get a slightly lighter/better helmet, but why? This is safe. If my daughter shows promise that she'll be shredding up the tracks in Supercross one day, I'll get her a nicer helmet.Gloves & goggles fit well too. The sizing chart was accurate.

Update my review from 1 star to 5 stars. Original: The helmet is a good value but within the first 2 weeks the 3 visor screws fell out. They slightly loosen while riding. If you want them to stay in place permanently, you may want to overtighten or try and glue them in somehow. They are decorative screws that match the helmet so not easily replaceable. New comments: Getting help from Amazon chat was frustrating and not helpful. Their only solution was to return the helmet, gloves, and goggles and then reorder the helmet. That involves packaging everything (odd size), driving to the UPS dropoff which is $6 in gas and then waiting for the replacement. That is quite the ordeal. Instead I contacted the manufacturer directly through email. They responded immediately and I had tracking information for new screws being sent to me at no cost within a couple hours of my email. That was impressive and a great recovery of our experience with this product.

These are fantastic! I was very impressed with the quality of these helmets. They look and feel much higher end. The goggles fit great in the helmet and the gloves looks to be good quality as well. My boys (10yrs and 7yrs) we’re both thrilled with them and they fit very snug yet are comfortable with plenty of padding.

I bought this helmet for myself. Purchased both M and L so I could compare. I chose the L for this adult small head. I have used it many times riding/racing BMX. I love the colors and unique look. Directions in the helmet box suggest that you purchase your helmet to fit snug and try wearing it for 30-45 min to see what you think. It also says that the helmet is designed to loosen up with use. (The insides) which really has not loosened up much if any so far for me. Great fit for this “kid at heart.”

This is a pretty nice helmet for the price. Gloves and goggles are nothing special but it's nice they come with. My son is 5 and a large fits pretty tight. I think a medium would of been too small gonna buy a medium for my 4 year old. Decent quality and a nice looking helmet. When I used to ride I would spend 300 bucks on a helmet and these are honestly almost just as nice. Comes with a bag also. Like I said gonna buy another one for my younger son.

El casco está increíble!!! De muy buena calidad y quedó perfecto para mi nena de 2 años. Los guantes muy grandes... pero me imaginé que así seria y lo malo de todo fue que no me llegaron los lentes... hable para preguntar y me dijeron que o hacía el proceso de devolución o me quedaba sin los lentes... porque no hay forma de me lo enviaran... esto está mal... ni hablar...

Muy cool parece el casco de máster chief de halo completo el kit pero si viene muy reducido
