Mini Holiday Light Cord Protector and Christmas Light Plug Cover (6 Pack) - Green

not sure what this was intended for. It cannot accommodate 2 outdoor rated male-female cord ends. I used them to hard wire a couple cords together to get the length I needed. in that use I could cut the outdoor electrical cords to the exact length I needed without having to have excess electrical cord all around the yard. Would not recommend for any other use especially if you do not know how to splice wires.

I wanted to try them first for effectiveness and ease of use. I like them! Now I'll get more! No more worries when stringing multiple strands of lights together that the plugs would get wet. Also I have not noticed any condensation inside as I used to get when I tried making my own covers with zip lock bags and electrical tape. AND they're green; blends right in!

I ordered this thinking that it would protect the connections between the outdoor lights and our icicle lights. It worked great for the multicolored string lights, but the plugs on the icicle lights were too big for the mini protector. We were able to purchase the next larger size locally, but they are made by Twist and Seal, too.

I ordered these with the intent of using them to protect the connection where a string of lights connected to an outside extension cord. Apparently all outside extension cords have wiring and ends that are too large to work with these.They did work OK for a "string to string " connection.

Thus last batch was flimsiest yet. We use these a lot in our outdoor decorating but have noticed the later lines fall apart and have hinges that break after just a single use.Also would love it if they’d make one just a little longer to accommodate some of the LED strings with cord stuff close to the plug!

Purchased these to protect outdoor Christmas lights from weather. Haven't tried them but they appear sturdy enough. As another reviewer stated, the stickers were hard to remove; wish seller could address this. Otherwise seems like a good product for intended use.
