In The Swim Aqua Splash Above Ground Swimming Pool Solar Cover Blanket Reel - Up to 18’ Wide

The reason I am giving it only 3 stars is because it is definitely not easy 1 person operation. Yes, it will swivel, but no, you can't use it this way because the pole with or without the cover rolled on it is too heavy so you must lift it completely off the pool when in use. We found that someone must be in the pool to guide the cover on or off the pole. The concept is good and it is definitely easier putting the cover on and off than without the reel but.....for the price I would have expected the '1-person operation' and that it would swivel out of the way as it was described.The assembly was not hard, just a lot of steps and very tedious and time consuming, took two of us about 3 hours to assemble and have working.I made this purchase totally on the information provided on line, would have been better to see a video of it in action and what to really expect. If I had a do over on this one I would probably not invest the $$ in this one.

It’s just the reel it doesn’t come with any type of cover or Solar blanket. Extremely overpriced when it’s something you can put together with some material from Home Depot or Lowe’s I tried to return it and they wanted me to return it at my own cost. The attachment parts for the reel cannot be attached to all above ground pools you must have a flat surface to attach them to. Screws have to go through either a flat surface edge around your pool or you have to install polls with a flat surface to attach them. It’s definitely not a one person job it’s very difficult to set it all up and it does not allow for easy roll up of the cover. It serves it’s purpose but I would not waste my money on this system it’s too expensive. If it wouldn’t have cost so much to return it I would’ve definitely returned it.

Once it is installed it works like a charm. It was worth the price. My little girl can do it which is awesome since she loves the pool and often has to wait for help to remove the solar cover. Be careful of the installation instructions. Measuring the rim of the pool plus adding 9 inches left us short.We had to redo the poles.

Great real. Harder to install on my pool because the rail isn't totally flat. Wedged to make it work. Very happy with it otherwise.

Terrible! When the wind catches it the whole cover ends up unrolled on the ground. The strings and screws pop out of the bar. Would not recommend.

Perfect for the pool! Excellent quality, easy to install. Built for durability. The nylon rope will last for several years before having to replace. Bang for the buck! This product rocks!
