Great oe fit. Exactly what I needed
Fixed my metabo 12 inch compound miter saw right up. The product is nice and a direct fit and allowed me to sell the saw easier and upgrade to dewalt.Metabo should be ashamed for this design. On a pro grade portable saw a part that will see as much use as this part should never be cast aluminum that is this thin and brittle.

Fits as it should and at a fair price which was a surprise.
The saw wasn't that expensive (I bought it on sale) so when I destroyed the fences, (note to self, don't try and cut 3/4" alloy plate without clamping it down) I was concerned it wouldn't be worth fixing but to my surprise the fence was a reasonable price and of good quality. In fact it appears to be a factory part!

Perfect fit!!!
So happy to have found this replacement. Some how the original fence bent. Unfortunately i miss this fact and began to cut a 2x4 on a 45. The blade dug into the fence and fired metal EVERYWHERE, including my face. Fortunately I'm ok, the blade and fence weren't so lucky. This product seems like the real deal, it fits perfectly like the original. (just not bent, lol)
