My dog is a pitbull/Rottweiler mix. He weighs 85 pounds. I ordered him a 3x since chest is so big. Finally found a jacket that goes around his chest and still has alittle room. Its Alittle bit longer than his body but that's not a big deal. Overall great purchase. It's soft on the inside and has waterproof material on the outside. It's really easy to put on too.

1st coat and he isn’t sure he likes it but his mom does. He soon got use to it and It does the trick keeping him warm on those chilly days. Doggy is 90lbs and the 3xl fits him perfectly.

I have an 83 pound dog that I would not consider to be overweight he’s a pointer boxer mix. I received this in a 2X and it was way too snug on him. It literally took two months for me to get this next one sent to me from China and when I say two months it was literally. but it finally came and it is fantastic. Now keep in mind the first one that I ordered did not take nearly as long to get to me. But the new one the 3X took a long time. I can’t figure out why. It is water resistant the inside is like a fur so soft it is not light weight But not heavy or bulky. it is easy to get on your dog there are no issues. It’s Velcro. My dog likes it he waits for it. He used to have a sweater but now he has this this covers a lot more space it goes all the way up to the top of his neck almost on head and got all the way to where the tail is. There’s also two which look like a large gray rubber bands that your dog just put his back feet through to make sure that it doesn’t go up on him with the wind or whatever. But you don’t even need them. But there there just for an extra thing. It’s a very good investment especially for the price. I’ve seen way way more expensive ones that have done much less and looked a lot less quality. And when I say I’ve seen them I mean a pet stores and a chewy which are both complete rip offs. I still cannot figure out how chewy can even have those commercials that say that they’re cheaper than people because they’re not. Petsmart Petco they’re all the same they are a rip off compared to what you get from Amazon. But my suggestion is to not go by the chart always go up one size at the minimum for your dog. Don’t worry about it it has Velcro. Unless you’re looking for an unbelievably snug fit we’re barely fit your dog with the Velcro and tight around his neck go up one size. I got it in red and it’s very visible to people. If you’re looking for that I would go with the red not the other colors.

My dog wears a harness and other coats require the harness to be worn over the coat then when we get to work, I have to take both off readjust the harness to fit without the coat, and put the harness back on, repeating the process when I take him home at the end of the day. This coat is great since it has a small, zippered access that allows the harness to be worn under the coat and the leash/harness' D ring can connect when the little spot is unzipped. My dog is a senior and gets cold easily, but this coat keeps him warm as it also covers his chest and stomach, instead of just the two narrow straps some coats have at the neck and stomach. I would give it 10 stars since it's warm, easy to get on/off, and can be worn over a harness. Great looking too!

With that, the strap that is designed to go between front legs and attach to the side of the coat was a bit too long. A small shortening fold and needle & thread took care of that. It did not impact functionality of the jacket; more of an esthetic thing.The only con I would give it:The reflective stripe is not very wide and therefore not super effective.

Finally a coat that fits my dog. I’ve already returned 3. The measurements are never really as stated. These measurements are pretty tru to size and the best thing is that this can be worn with a harness. I have a female so I wish it came in other color besides just red and navy, maybe pink or deep purple. I would buy more. I have a 9.5 Bichipoo if that helps others decide on the size.

It could be cuter, thicker, longer, cover his ears, and all that jazz 😂 but after all, it is a dog coat, and a dog has got to pee! It really is a fantastic coat and fit! We ordered XXXXL (4X) for our great dane, Astro. He is on the smaller side for a dane. I have never attempted to slip his legs into the back elastics, it works totally great without the bother. Love that the neck can be folded or unfolded, it's actually what sold me. He has a long neck so I typically will unfold it for him to wear outside if it's cold. He seems to love it too, doesn't mind the easy on and off at all. It only takes a second with the velcro. I love the design and functionality.

This is the first dog jacket I have purchased and I am thrilled with it. It seems to be well made and the price is reasonable. The water resistant outer layer is good quality and the furry inner layer is plush and warm. My standard poodle got groomed a bit shorter than expected and he did not want to go outside in the freezing weather. It took him only one wearing to get used to this coat and we walked 2 miles yesterday. He initially didn’t seem to like the elastic bands on the hind legs but once he realized he could still do his business he seemed unconcerned with them.I ordered an XXL to accommodate his deep chest (28”) even though he has a very slim body which is breed standard. The coat fits great and goes on very easily. I loved that I could put his halter on and the ring for the leash comes up through the unzipped slot in the coat.

Shipping took a while but I can understand due to the COVID delays. Plus it was totally worth the wait!! It fits Bruno (2 year old Doberman Pinscher) very well and isn't too tight! I've struggled to find a jacket that fits his board chest, and this product is perfect! The fur inside keeps Bruno very warm, which is great because his short coat isn't enough to keep him warm during these cold Canadian winters! And the fitting is perfect, it's not too tight but not too big either. There's just enough room for him to freely move about in the jacket and in case he gets any bigger! Also love the reflective lining of the jacket!

We have a small breed sausage dog cross who is very close to the ground with his little short legs, this jacket fits beautifully and so lovely and warm. The breast plate coverage is wonderful for our little dog as it protects his chest from the wet grass and helps keep him warm. The elastic for the hind legs holds it in place nicely, now the best jacket he owns for winter

The jacket is perfect. I like the little zip on the top. Your dog can wear the lead underneath the jacket.The jacket is indeed waterproof and also covers the tummy very nicely.
