the wait is over
I'm glad these were on sale and that I had been given a gift card otherwise I don't know when I'd pay for Hasbeens. Lusting after them for a while now and now these (natural color) are mine!I am somewhat unsure of what to do as they are just the tiniest bit small. I do not like any bit of my toe to overhang the shoe. There's plenty of room in the heel which just makes me think they do fit but the construction is pushing my foot forward and off the shoe. But only the slightest bit. That and the next size up is sold out so...I guess I'll keep them. They appear to be made with great care. As a graphic designer, I liked the little informative insert that came with them. Better shoes for a better world! We'll see if they last 20 years to give to future child :PThey do feel a bit tight but I think once the leather loosens with wear, they'll feel just fine. They are pretty light weight. I'm just weary of damaging them!Would def say give them a try. I'm excited to pair with my dresses and might even try them out with some sockies (which would be a great way to break them in and prevent rubbing while doing so)! Maybe order a size up just to be safe.[edit] I have worn my hasbeens around the office and they feel great except for one thing: the ankle strap is killing me! Just wondering how long until that bit of leather softens up...Aside from that they are awesome.

Disappointing
I have to say that the styling on these is very lovely and looks good on the foot.However- they are extraordinarily tight. I wear a 10-10.5 and bought the 11 and they are very snug. I was hoping they'd stretch with wear, but I didn't really get that far because after only owning them a few weeks, I noticed that large chunks of wood were chipping off. A very large piece at the heel is nearly off, which will eventually render them irreparable. Far far too expensive for these kinds of issues.

I like….not sure I love!
I've wanted these shoes for a while now. I love wood soled shoes and I love the classic neutrality of these. Also, I love that they are made in Sweden as I try not to buy shoes made in China. I had expected these shoes to run small and therefore ordered up to a 39 instead of the 38 - I'm an 8/8.5. These are a little big but I suspect the 38 would be a little small. They seem really comfortable though the peep toe part doesn't really show the toes. Lastly, the color is very subtle - almost a grayish bluish white. Very neutral. I'm pretty sure I'll be keeping them cause I think they'll work well with jeans, skirts, dresses and shorts.

Squeaky squeaks when walking
I own another pair of SH's and love them. I ordered these because they were so cute and neutral and on sale. I read all the reviews and didn't see anyone comment on this issue: THEY ARE SO SQUEAKY! Am I the only one who has this issue? The basket weave leather rubs and squeaks back and forth when you walk. I'm surprised no one else commented on this. Has anyone else had this issue?

Muffin top feet
These shoes are super narrow. I'm always a 10, and these were really narrow. I don't have wide feet, but if you can imagine a "muffin top" foot.... that's how these shoes fit on my feet. I'm exchanging for the 11, hopefully they'll be better.

Amazing ,comfie, cute, quality
I was smart and picked these up from Amazon in the dead of winter for half the current going cost. I wish the sticker on the heel with the branding was affixed better. It arrived with the sticker peeling off. I rarely buy such fancy name brand shoes and kinda wanted that part of the shoe to be there so I would be reminded that I had a real pair of Swedish Hasbeens. Lame I know, but important if you rarely spend so much on shoes.I love that the buckle contains no elastic. I hate getting nice sandals with elastic because they can only be worn for about a month before the elastic breaks. So these will last longer. Like forever. And the leather is very thick but gets soft quickly. I have back issues and am not a skinny girl so clog heels are ideal for me. They are comfortable and supportive. And sturdy. I am not ladylike in my heels and like a pair of heels I could hike in. These would and do survive things that other heels can not survive.Last but not least, have I mentioned how cute these are? They are powder blue and such a cute style. They can be worn with jeans, dresses, tights, and bare legged.

Beware
These were clearly used shoes. They had wear and tear all over and the label under the heel was coming off. They were also in an unmarked box with no paper or padding. Not okay. Great fit though. If they had been new shoes, would have been nice.

Gorgeous, classic shoe. Apply oil for a worn in look.
From the reviews, I expected these to be less comfortable straight out of the box, but I was able to wear them on a mile walk to to the store to break them in, with only minor discomfort by the end. I got the 'Natural' color, but the box showed them as 'Nature', which I had thought to be an entirely different Swedish Hasbeens colorway. They were indeed darker than the image shown here, but I went ahead an oiled them anyway to get the darker, worn in look I wanted. I used Organic Jojoba Oil - 100% Pure & Natural Cold Pressed Unrefined oil - 4 oz , but the Swedish Hasbeens site also recommends Olive Oil. I love the look of these shoes - exactly was I was hoping for! With the oiling and wearing them for hour or two long stretches around the house, I expect them to be significantly more comfortable and able to wear them all day by the time summer arrives!
