UTG 3.8" ITA Red/Green Single Dot Sight w/Integral QD Mount , Black

I use these red/green dot sights on my smaller arms applications where i’m not shooting more than 50 yards. I love this item on my Pettit/BB rifle applications. The price is good in my opinion. This was the first one i purchased on Amazon because the last four I purchased was from a local retailer. Before the covid thing, my retailer price was as low as the Amazon price. Now they tacked on a much higher price to their optics. Luckily, Amazon price was still lower and I lucked out to get free shipping. Now I could have paid the extra cash at the retailer, but waiting an extra two days was no biggie. In my opinion, this optic is durable. As long as i had the first one, it never lost its sight in whenever I shot the weapon platform it was on. As a side note, remember to turn it off when not using it. Extra batteries being handy is nice, but why replace them more often when you don’t have to.I highly recommend this product.

I use this on my .25 Hatsan MOD 135QE and it works well. Even after hundreds of shots, it’s holding up great. I did have to unscrew and remove the rear sight of the Hatsan 135 for better visibility with the red dot. Easy on, easy off, and check the grub screw once in a while. My only gripe is that the dot is too bright in lower light situations, even on the lowest settings. If, you see a blur or it doesn’t look crisp. Rotate the red dot and look through it when it’s on. If the fuzzy stays the same and don’t move with the scope rotating. It’s not the product, it’s your eyes. I have a astigmatism, so without glasses I see a blur. With glasses it’s a fuzzy dot. My kids who doesn’t have any astigmatism sees a crisp dot.

UTG always makes a good product. The QD mount works great and remains zeroed even after you remove and replace a few times. The green and red dots are very visible even on the lowest illumination settings and the dust caps fit correctly ( no turning or loosening). All the adjustments work very well and the lenses are crystal clear with no distortion even with both eyes open. A great product which I would highly recommend to anyone (beginner or advanced)! Way to go UTG.

First the good stuff. This sight is easy to set up and use. You really don't need the brighter settings as the lowest setting is bright enough. The quick-disconnect works perfectly. Easy to accquire and hold target. Easy elevation and windage adjustments. Now for the not so good stuff. The dot is VERY fuzzy, not at all accurate. At 100 yards you better be shooting at something the size of a beach ball or bigger. No, I'm not that bad a shooter, just a VERY fuzzy dot. Also, the battery cap is hard to get started on the threads and it tends to loosen when you turn the bright adjustment knob. Since this is on an AR-15 and not a hunting rifle the sight is okay to use. Will opt for something with more quality next time.

UTG has really stepped up they're game! Sturdy products they handle a beating and keep ticking! This CQB red/green dot scope is awesome. It's heavy duty construction it's all one solid piece not platform base so if the mounted scope gets bumped it doesn't loose it's zero or break the one I ordered came with an added bonus flip up lens covers it gets crazy bright even pointing at the sun the dot is visible and gets really dim everything is so sturdy. If you get this product and something is wrong send it back and get another one because you don't want to miss out on this site the QD function is just great too all of my "evil features" are QD UTG products I've purchased several different parts and UTG wins over all low priced gun parts!!!

Easy to install and sight in. Great replacement for the included scope on the Gamo Scorpion

I've used other products from UTG and have been more than satisfied with the performance, quality and value. A very underrated brand.

Works great on my 5.56 sighted in at 50 yards seems to be holding up.

Der Leuchtpunkt ist, wie bisher bei jedem billigen reddot, ausgefranst und zu hell. Selbst in der niedrigsten Stufe.Ich habs erst garnicht auf eine Waffe montiert. Wissen sollte man noch, dass die Objektivlinse silber verspiegelt ist.Für ein bissel Softair-Pling-Pling ist das Teil O.K., für Feuerwaffen nicht zu gebrauchen.
