Very cute and easy to use
This set of two small scissors are very sharp and work great on cuttingthread while sewing or embroidering. The ones that look like a bird have smaller finger holes than the other scissors. If your have large fingers these may not work very well for you.My fingers fit fine in both, the smaller one went up to my second knuckle onmy index finger. They are very pretty and the gold color looks very nice.I really like the one that looks like a bird, it is so cute.I use these in my craft room for cutting ribbon and for sewing, crochetingand embroidering.Overall I am very happy with this set of scissors and have had no problems with them.*I received a discount on this product in exchange for testing and my review. All opinions are my own.

Keep these scissors anywhere and everywhere
These little scissors are great, and the price is excellent. I have found that having a pair of these (they used to be called stork scissors and were very expensive) everywhere is a real convenience: on my desk, on my dressing table, in both bathrooms, in the top kitchen drawer, in my travel make-up kit, and of course on my sewing machine. Use to cut threads, open mail, punch through plastic, open shampoo bottles, cut out newspaper articles, and much, much more. They don't replace full-size scissors, but they're so small they are almost invisible. Keep a pair anywhere and everywhere.

Adorable + Chic
They are absolutely adorable, very chic, and work well. Great value for both pair. Stash them in a make-up bag, glove box, kitchen drawer, desk drawer, sewing basket, etc. I have already used them both for opening up cosmetic samples in those pesky packets, aspirin in the individual packets, and cutting a loose thread. They are so pretty I display them. You own't be sorry if you get these little cuties. :)

Love the way these look
Love the way these look! And I was happy with the price. That being said, one of the pairs (bird design) seemed to dull rather quickly. It was just cutting thin linen and thread, so I was somewhat disappointed in the quality. I switched to the other pair even though they aren't as cute, and I haven't had issues with sharpness. Maybe my bird was a dud :( Anyway, half the reason I bought them was to use them in pictures displaying my embroidery, and they look great!I definitely don't expect these to last forever, but for my (fairly) light use, I think they should do just fine. Also, I haven't had any issues with the gold rubbing off--still looking good! Definitely recommend for looks, but probably not the best overall quality if you need some serious embroidery scissors.

Beautiful and sharp
I love these! I bought them for sentimental reasons because they reminded me of the sewing scissors my mother used when I was a little kid (a long time ago.) However in addition to being very pretty, they are very sharp and can cut cleanly in a wide variety of small areas. I think they would work well for small to medium size hands, but might be a bit small if your hands are large.

The pair I can't find were very fine edged and were great for nipping things off close
Sorry I ordered these. The blades are so fat that I can't cut close to the fabric. The pair I can't find were very fine edged and were great for nipping things off close. I will keep them but I should have known for the price that they were not top quality.

Scissors Don't Have Small Tips
These scissors are cute, but they do not have small tips. They could not be easily used to rip out stitches. I was hoping to use these to replace my 40+ year old Singer scissors (made in Italy) with very small tips. These scissors are made in China, and will work fine for cutting thread, but not for ripping out stitches.
