Absolutely incredibly for the price and the best on the market! When I ordered the product from Spencer, he spent lots of time on the phone explaining the details of the product and its incredible effectiveness. Did I still have doubt? Most definitely... I wondered how a battery operated product could have any power to be good enough for a massager. Well, low and behold, it arrived within 1 day from Amazon prime. I could not wait to try it. After opening the box, I could not believe the high-quality and construction. It was extremely durable and packaged nicely. And now the test begins...after charging it which took less than an hour, I tried all 3 attachments. The massage was so incredible that I thought to myself this product should even cost more! It was so strong that I had to adjust the speed on certain parts of my body. The massager is deep and penetrating leaving a tingling feeling proving that it is definitely creating a deep massage and keeping the blood circulating. I opted for the $99 massager. The cheaper version did not have a speed option which I feel is important. The more expensive model may be an option for those who want the additional attachments, but I did not feel the need for them. Basically, a personal massage cost as much as the CM5. Now, you will have an infinite number of self-massages for that price. I could only find one drawback: I could figure out for "the life of me" how to put the CM5 on the stand that comes with it. Again, Spencer explained it to me by sending me a diagram. There is no picture of the CM5 and the stand...Spencer promised to address this issue with the company. Plus, I did not like the way the stand worked...extremely cumbersome. My suggestion is to create a case or sleeve for the product. At the present time, I use the box for storage which is very durable of thick cardboard. Pure-Wave did not skimp at all on this product. If I could give the product 6 stars, I would! Go for it...you will be thrilled you purchased the product.

I wanted a massager for times when I strain my back or when I felt muscle soreness after working out. I saw a promotional video on Facebook, and I immediately looked to see if I could find it here on Amazon. This works by percussion at lower frequencies and by vibration at higher frequencies. You adjust the speed by turning the knob for intensity. The knob also functions as a the power switch.The construction is very long and lean, but solid in feel. It is not heavy to handle which can be difficult with patients who may have strength issues or arthritis. There are three different massage heads, each with a different purpose. The softer head for kneading and distributing topical analgesics, the firm small point for acupressure or trigger spots, and the larger 6 figured head for deep muscle massage. Each head twists right onto the massager. There is a handy stand with slots for each head, and to rest the massager while it charges.How effective is it? Well, I have a couple of tendon injuries along my ankles that I have been Suffering from a chronic condition. It significantly improved after a brief treatment. Not only does it seem to relax the tissue but I feel like I have improved circulation afterwards. It is quieter than average massagers. On lower settings it has a firm percussive feel. The higher settings vibrate. I alternate between the two. The action or sensation is similar to jets from a jacuzzi or hot tub.Overall, I have been pleasantly surprised at how quick and effective it was to attenuate my pain. This gets two thumbs up for design and function.UPDATE (November 2016)My lower back/sacroiliac joint was giving me some trouble. I used the percussion of the 6 head attachment which made the pain much more tolerable. Still going strong. I leave it plugged in all the time to keep the battery life ready at all times.

I really was skeptical at first (100 Bucks!!!) but after my own online review searching on the Pure Wave, I bit the bullet and bought it.I can say that I’m not disappointed, worth every penny so far.I know it’s made out of plastic but man; the pure-wave has some heft to it and feels very solidly built. Mostly because of the battery I’m sure but it’s not cheaply built (within reason of course).In regard to the Li-ion battery, I know some have questioned it’s longevity but I’m not really worried about it. It’s basically using custom made 18650 (x2) power cells which I use all the time in my flashlights. They’re made to last and if somethings does go wrong, the company can replace them. (Granted, so they say).The ergonomics is outstanding and alone with being cordless, it’s so comfortable and easy to use.The percussion motor is more powerful than I thought it would be. I’m a tough dude but even I turn it down to ¾ and not run it on high all the time.So far it’s living up to the hype others have said about it and I would recommend this product to others if you want a very good massagers.I purchased the CM - 5 sense I don’t have a need for the extra’s you get with the CM - 7.
