Frigidaire 316545301 Oven Door Handle for Gas Ranges and Stoves, White

I saved money by buying used and was really nervous about the quality of product I would receive. Would it be yellowed, damaged, etc. When it arrived and I unwrapped it, it looked brand new. The screw holes were a tad small but with the electric drill I was able to make it work. My oven looks brand new again.

My handle broke on my oven door and it really was a major deal for a part that you really don’t think about too much. This handle made my oven new again!!

I wasn't sure if this product would work for my oven handle, but I found dimensions for it and they matched close enough. The arch of the handle is more than the original, but the holes for the screws did line up. 85 USD is a bit much for a piece of molded plastic, but I guess it's a monopoly so what can you do? Overall, I'm glad I was able to get a replacement handle from Amazon.

High price for a for a ten-dollar plastic handle. Screws do not come with the plastic handle; the screws are sold separately. The screws are different lengths, why? Both screws worked for me. Beware, using a screw that is too long will increase the chance of cracking the plastic handle.

Got this for a replacement for mine since the handle wore out. Identical to the original only flaw is the screw hoes are a little shallow so has a little wiggle

I believe that the handle for this particular stove was engineered badly. It does not have a lot of grip on the screws that hold it on. Over time and use it busts loose. The handle works fine until that point.

So yes the product fits. It was incredibly expensive for what it is but it fits. That is not the issue I have. My issue is with Frigidaire. So I have included before and after pictures the first picture being after I got the handle put on. My oven is only about three years old so it is not that old. Recently the oven handle started popping off causing the front of the oven door to crash to the floor as seen in the second picture. The fact is it's cheaply made. The part where the screws go in is plastic causing it to break down over time the more the oven is opened. So I will likely have to keep replacing it. As you can see from the way the oven is designed the screws and the door handle hold the oven door together otherwise without the handle it splits in two. So the handle is necessary to properly close the oven door which is a poorly thought out design but hey means more money for Frigidaire because they make repeat money from me if I keep having to replace it. Which I am sure was the plan. To the tune of over 100 dollars a pop. So I called Frigidaire. Rather than STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT they want me to pay for the repair or replacemement of their crappy product. That is a strike against them. They have dropped me as a customer after one year and won't stand behind their products which is a red flag. And I am not alone. There are many unhappy customers on their Facebook page that are complaining. I will never recommend them to anyone and will not buy another product from them again. Aside from the oven door handle I will probably have to replace every 3 years based on what I have experienced so far and whatever else pops up with this poorly made product down the road.

J’ai installé la poignée sur un tiroir de cuisinière qui en avait pas à l’achat. La poignée est de très belle qualité et le résultat est comme si la cuisinière venait avec cette poignée. Pour le prix, la livraison aurait pu contenir les vis pour l’installation. Puisqu’il n’y a pas de filets dans les ouvertures pour les vis, j’ai utilisé des vis à bois qui ont fait le travail parfaitement. Résultat professionnel.

If possible verify part number of old handle. Don't chuck it immediately mine was broken at one end but could find number inside broken piece. Model number search might work too but this way you're sure and it fits perfectly

It works fine and looks good. Seems very expensive for a piece of plastic, but I could not find it cheaper elsewhere. Save your old bolts as it does not come with hardware.
