I have recently purchased a treadmill and needed to apply silicone under the roller belt before use. This involved loosening the belt so that you could reach the middle of the underside of the belt to apply the oil from the bottle and then re-tightening the allen keys to get the belt re-tensioned again. Needless to say that when using the treadmill the belts moved and I needed to tweak the allen key setting to get the belt running parallel to the edge again. This bottle comes with a thin tube so that you can push it under the belt without loosening it and slowly withdrawing it so that the width of the belt is lubricated. I shall still loosen the belt occasionally to clean the underside of the belt but this is a great purchase saving so much effort during the lubrication process.

Updating my review below as I figured out how to dispense. The cap does not need to be pierced as another reviewer has stated completely incorrectly. The tip screws open and then you can insert the nozzle easily. Should have come with better instructions.How on earth do they describe this as easy to use. You have to make a hole in the cap and then insert nozzle. Good luck trying to make a hole in the cap. Why not supply with a cap with the nozzle attached. Absolutely not worth the money

Does what it says

This silicone liquid is viscous enough to pour and spreads effectively.The viscosity and high flash point make it resilient against wear and tear.It has a thicker consistency than usual spray and therefore adheres better.It makes a significant difference to the noise and squeak; movement seems smoother after use.Good stuff, great yield, simple application. Unfortunately no syringe was included, so it is difficult to understand the amount of lubricant administered.Well packaged and quick and easy to use.Comes with an applicator designed to extend and maintain the life of the treadmill (non-squeaky and non-squeak).I can't complain, because the product makes a difference. No unpleasant odors and it is eco-friendly.

This is something I have been meaning to get for ages as our little bottle that came with the machine is all used up now.You are supposed to oil the bed under the belt every 25 hours of use.It helps the belt not to wear away from friction where it touches other parts of the machine.You can squirt it on with the nozzle on the squeezy bottle and it disperses as you run the nozzle under the belt.You are supplied with the bottle with a normal screw on lid, an applying nozzle and a tube.Also there is a little purple tool that looks like a guitar pick which I think is supposed to be for lifting the belt. I did try it but it is really too small for that and so I reverted to our trusty wooden Lolly stick kept for the purpose.You need to run your lifting tool under the edge of the belt and be able to hook it upwards, then you can get a reasonable gap in which to poke the bottle nozzle. Then just run it along.Do both sides.Thats it.To get the belt back under the edge, use the lifting tool to tuck it back .I couldnt work out what the tube was for so just stuck it in the bottle with its end inside the nozzle in hopes that that was what was meant. Not sure it did anything. It doesnt appear to be to fasten into the nozzle.This is a good large bottle and will last for ages.

Used this on the elliptical machine and some door hinges that were spooky sounding. Works great! Smooth as butter.
