Game Changer for Cat Owners
Game changer--amazing!! I have had cats for 40 years. I've tried every type of litter out there. This stuff is incredible. First of all, there's no smell to the litter box. I hate those scented litters that make my cat smell like cheap perfume. This does not have a smell to it, but it does fight the smell of the litter box. I'm in a tiny house so that my cat goes the litter box. It's very evident. Not with this litter. The other crate advantage is it does not trash through the house. No dust no litter everywhere. It took me a minute to learn how to scoop it. You have to kind of dig for whatever is in there and then just pick that up. I hope this company stays in business for the rest of my life because this is incredible

Superior in Every Way
Okay, I never thought I'd be writing a raving review for cat litter but here we are. This stuff is truly amazing. I have experience with numerous types of litters in the clay, wheat, and corn categories and none of them even remotely compete with this miracle of a product. This litter checks all the boxes and actually does what is advertised. There is virtually no dust, it clumps well, doesn't track at all, and mitigates odor.Pretty much all cat litter will claim that their formula is 99.9% dust free, yada yada. Not only is this bs in my experience, most litters I've used produce quite a bit of dust when adding to the box. This stuff has virtually no dust. The only dust you'll find is a little at the bottom of the vacuum-sealed bag, which doesn't produce clouds. The fact that this product comes vacuum sealed in two individual bags, prevents the litter from moving around where the grains are churning against one another creating the broken-down litter dust. Additionally, another benefit is the space saving feature. It has a smaller footprint than an equivalent bag of the same weight. The clumping ability is some of the best I've seen. Again, many of the other brands will advertise that their formulas produce tight clumps that resist breaking apart, however I've had varying results. This stuff is just different in the way it absorbs and clumps together. Typically, you will find clumps that are simply the litter material stuck to one another when absorbing liquid, yet this stuff actually changes its composition as it clumps. It's rather hard to explain, but you can think of it as if the strands of bean husks, "melt down" and combine with one another when there is a pooled liquid. The amount of liquid absorbs correlates with how much the strands blend together, as it does traditionally clump as well. I attached a picture with an example. The darker areas are where the strands have blended together to create a solid piece of material. Last but not least, against all odds, this miracle product barely sticks to the box, which in my case is plastic. The little it does comes off cleanly and doesn't require scraping to remove. One of the best characteristics of this litter is its form factor. When I recently changed litter's to this stuff, I specifically looked for products that had larger grains of material to reduce tracking. I was sick and tired or having litter strew throughout the house. The problem is history. Dut to its size and shape, it's too big to get stuck in my guy's paws and if it does, the litter mat right outside of his box catches. There is virtually no tracking and it's fantastic. The only drawback of this formula is the fact that some cats are picky, and litter can certainly be one of them. It's my understanding that cats tend to prefer smaller grains of material, so these larger strands may be rejected by your finicky cat. It doesn't help that the lavender version is a light purple color and has a mild fragrance.Another fantastic aspect of this stuff is the odor control. Now take my opinion with a grain of salt since I can't smell ish, literally, however I have told by someone with a very sensitive palate that odor is still apparent, like all litter's. What I can vouch for, odor-wise, is the ammonia smell when the litterbox is heavily soiled. Even sifting through the litter when scooping, I can't smell anything. In the past the ammonia smell was apparent and I'm right over the box and especially when the clumps broke apart.Don't think twice when considering this amazing product, and don't let the price deter you as well.

Try it! You’ll LOVE it!!!
I absolutely LOVE this cat litter. My baby boy, Doodles will be 18 next month and believe me when I say, we’ve tried every litter there is. None have worked as well as CatIt!!Firstly, the reason why I started using this is it does NOT stick to his paws. I hated the old litters being small granules tracked all over & literally caked on his paws and tail. I hated the fact that he was ingesting that gunk. He still scatters around his box but clean up is a breeze.Secondly, it’s fairly lightweight and easy for him to dig to his heart’s desire. Much easier on me scooping too. Although it’s flushable, I prefer to bag it and trash it.And, thirdly, NO STINK!! He doesn’t cover his poopies but you’d never know it.Lastly, I LOVE that it’s plant based and no chemicals or heavy scents. I will do EVERYTHING to keep Doodles healthy. If you have doubts, just try it. I really don’t think you’ll be disappointed!

Tofu for life
By far this is my favorite litter. I absolutely love the ease of scooping (with a wide slatted wire scoop), how long it lasts (2-3 weeks with 5 cats/3 litterboxes), and no dust. My cats were having a lot of respiratory problems with all other types of litter but has since cleared up while using tofu litter. My only complaint is that the vanilla smells like a petting zoo at first but it does dissipate within a day to a soft vanilla smell that lasts until the litter gets too low and needs to be changed. The lavender is the opposite. It smells like lavender out of the box but the smell turns a bit gross after a couple weeks. That's when I know it's time to change it. The vanilla litter itself seems to last longer than the lavender too. I prefer this brand over the flushable tofu because it doesn't get gel-like gooey so it doesn't stick to the scoop or the litterbox. The odor control is about the same as many clay or coconut litters. You only really smell the poo when first dropped and you don't smell the pee at all. The cost seems expensive for what you get but it lasts twice as long as clay and the ease of cleaning the litterbox is well worth a few extra dollars. I just wish there were more scent options.

Strong Smell that Deters Cats from Using
I was looking for a biodegradable option to put out for 3 cats in our catio. We LOVE Sustainably Yours, it's amazing. But, it tracks horribly. We have a tofu litter in our bedroom closet, but it gets stinky fast. I read some reviews and settled on this litter. It arrived and the odor was pretty overwhelming as I poured it into the freshly cleaned and sanitized box in the morning. In the evening, I went out to clean it, and they hadn't used it AT ALL. I went back in and watched on our video camera inside the catio. The poor cats kept going over and smelling over the side, but none of them would use it. Poor kitties! We changed the litter immediately, and they spent almost half an hour in the box, relieving themselves. So, no, I definitely would not recommend this. :(
