'05 Trailblazer - Vibration GONE & all driving quieter & smoother..
My 2005 Trailblazer EXT I6 (6 cylinder) had only 40k miles but had developed a terrible vibration when idling (600 rpm) and especially when stopped in gear (at light, stop sign).. Shifting into N when stopped would help, shifting into R was even better (though freaked out those behind me) Yet when driving it seemed fine. Also was worse when engine was cold.Eventually replaced the 2 motor mounts with these.. WOAH.. Not only did the stopped at idle vibration problem go away, but I also realized how bad the my Trailblazer had been vibrating & loud it was at ALL speeds - though evidently I had just gotten used to it. Amazingly smooth & quiet now in comparison.. Can't say enough.. Paid an independent shop ±$240 to install (well worth it) though could definitely be a DYI job for some or a younger me.Have read to not use aftermarket mounts & given what's involved to replace them, I'd stick with these..

Great product
I replaced the mounts on my 2006 Trailblazer at 135,000 miles. It runs so quiet and smooth now, no more hard start-ups or rumbling idle.Be aware that even with the engine fully lifted, I had to shorten the upper stud on the driver's side mount to make it fit. All you need is a $25 rotary tool to cut the stud yourself.DO NOT buy non-OEM engine mounts. I bought the NAPA brand first, and they were trash. The truck ran terribly with them. Stick to OEM.

Consider my tip!!!!
2004 trailblazer has been vibrating and humming for 2 years now with much trouble shooting to no end. No end until I installed these. Wow what a difference!! Runs smooth and quiet now. TIP: If your like me your gonna watch videos on how to change it and get to the bolt on the driver's side. Your gonna see about drilling a whole, removing pcm, Removing suspension, etc etc. I did none of that. I used a crescent pass through ratchet. Now I've owned this tool for years and used it only once before this job but it hit me like a ton of bricks to try. Never removed the electronics, wires, or suspension etc. Worked great!!! Crescent CX6PT20 X6 Pass-Through Ratchet and Sockets, 20-Piece https://www.amazon.com/dp/B009L8GEPM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_jr3kDbNHX3GTR

Trailblazer Motor Mounts
I originally bought the cheap motor mounts from 1A auto for about $60 and had them on for about 2 months and they started to fail so I went ahead and got these and what a world of difference. Do your self a favor and just get these first as the job isn’t fun.

These are OEM replacement
If you have vibration at idle issue these are the only option. I bought auto store ones first and had that knock and vibration come back. Did a bunch of work like everyone does chasing down the vibration at idle; put washers on all the bolts on every heat shield, coil packs, plugs, clean the intake, harmonic balancer, belts, clutch fan, mass airflow, air filter, trans mount, etc. So I finally decide to take the auto store motor mounts out. Once I had them out I shook them and one of them literally RATTLED. It was louder that you’d think also was super weird to shake what appeared to be a solid piece of rubber and hear what sounded like one single bolt in a glass jar being rattled. So I returned the zone’s motor mounts, bought these and neither the vibration or the noise came back. These aren’t super easy to install, it’s tricky to get them in and out without raising the motor until it touches the firewall.

holy cow, great buy
I had bad mounts about 18 months ago and replaced them with the cheap aftermarket ones and they were worse, i finally got fed up and ordered the OE GM mounts here and WOW, all of the engine vibrations are gone. old ones would shake the steering wheel at idle and when A/C was on even worse, these cured all of that. GREAT PURCHASE.
